This commission is for two Marine tanks for a tanker.
I'm using Dragon's AIM kits, one of his last deployment with updated parts from Dragon's SEP kit - tracks, infantry phone...and I'll scratch the rest.
His other track is of a customized version during his tour in OIF1.
More details and photos in due time.

A very good friend of mine was stationed there about 6 or 7 years ago. It was so exciting the only thing he really remembers is going to Palm Springs. I was there for a CAX once and once to visit my buddy. Plenty of time to think there.
Not tho' the soldier knew
Someone had blunder'd:
Their's not to make reply,
Their's not to reason why,
Their's but to do and die

Plenty of time to think that is for sure. I did 6 mths in comm school, most of which was on working parties awaiting a slot to open in school. Then once I got to the fleet I think I did a 3 month CAX every year until I got out. Between 94-98 there wasn't much going on the world so we trained alot.
"Stumps" was just kinda what we referred to the place as because I don't think I saw 29 Palms the entire time I was out there.
Sorry to Hi-jack your thread Nick.

Sean I fixed the Humvee link.
Guys, what's CAX?
Yeah, Mike Mummey, told me 29 Palms is one big empty place you guys use for live firing.
We don't have nothing like that down here..of course.

I recall someone did the adjustments for the wheel arms inorder to give the forward weighted angle because of the mine plow. Can someone please post the link?

CAX Combined Arms Exercise.
29 Palms is one Gigantic impact area. We had some idiot once tossing rocks at an unexploded 155mm round. I still have my desert water bag floating around somewhere I think, lol.

Howdy Nick, everything is looking good. The M257 smoke grenade launcher detail is really nice. The MCD is top notch as well as the fording kit air intake plate.. Regarding the TCs hatches they should be vertical and not slanted back. Outta here, Mike sends . . .
