Go to this link james it has some good Scimitar pics, however they are on Salisbury Plain.
http://plain-military.tripod.com/

Just be aware some of them are BGTI Scimitars and not formation recconnaisance.

Update

I added two boxes onto the front, I tried all day to scratch build them and I got realy frustraighted with the build then,Then I noticed the boxes in my warrior kit so i test fitted them and they were almsot a perfect fit so I did some chopping and filing and this is what i come up with: and I also added another CIP pannel which came from my warrior kit.

Here you can see I got carried away with my knife LOL

Here is the CVT latestest

hi jim
nice scimitar you'r building here.i built this one a few years ago and it builds into a nice little kit i added the eduard PE.the only part that i didnt like was the tracks.i dont no if there are any aftermarket ones out there maybe accurate armour do some.
as for the glue debate all i use nowdays is humbrol liquid poly and i use a 5/0 brush just hold the parts to be glued together then touch the 5/0 onto the seem and hey presto one glued joint.

Hi James,
Its a Regt Battle Honour- Meiktila (Pronounced Muktilla) a WW2 Battle.
Metalica would be ok for a Heavier metalled Vehicle.

Progress:

I created a dust cover for the mantlet using rolled militput, its my first time using it for scratch building, I usually use it for filling gaps.

It still needs a good clean up and some reshaping.

Looking good James... Scimitars look to be a fairly cramped vehicle to work in don't they?

Cheers!
