Thank you for the advise and information while I have been building my first 1-72 diorama. The post on the right was actually quite hard to do, having it at an angle without falling over allowing the power cables their huge belly, if I was thinking straight, I should have simply drilled a hole and glued it into place, unable to make cobble stone, I went with crazy pavement, then a colour wash for the road, I can't make seagulls and I didn't want to pay a pound (U.K money) each, so on the roof, bird poo only I'm afraid, there was a list of mistakes I made as long as your arm, I kept asking questions, and the wonderful people kept giving me answers, so a BIG thank you to all.

Deep breath - Thank you for posting my photo's, and deeply appreciate your comments. To be completely blunt, I normally build straightforward scale warships, and getting fed-up with them, so I wanted an escape, finding this web-site was a huge step forward, some (no that's not the right word) 99.9% of these dioramas I have spent hours looking at, have completely knocked me side ways, although I build 2 dioramas there was little I found to do with them, I asked a ton of questions, and boy did I get some good answers, I honestly enjoyed the whaleback diorama I built, totally mucking up the sea but trying to understand where everything should go seemed to work out for me. Not the best, but I actually like it. Thank you all for your help and advise.
