Tim, currently I do not have any more pictures of the interior. We are headed out for a field problem this upcoming week and I'll try to get some clean pictures then, but I don't think I will be able to post them until Mid march when I return.
here is a link to the "dash 10"...our maintenance manual, for the operating instructions for the dashboard layout.
http://www.tpub.com/content/trucks2.5tonv1-2/TM-9-2320-365-10/css/TM-9-2320-365-10_86.htm
also, here is the index for the entire maintenance manual, take your time and page through it and you'll find some excellent information.

also, to the left and right sides of the 3rd seat (the middle one) would be a few small clasps, much like the PE claps for OVM tools on the german tanks. These are for securing our M-16s during transit.

I want one of these !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I am following your progress and just am amazed at the detail that this kit appears to hold.
Is this all contained within the original product or is there aftermarket parts being added to this?

I guess everyone is waiting for the final result mate. The build is certainly not crap, you've touched upon some important issues and I'm sure people are going to read this build log once they have the actual kit in their hands.
That, after all, is what a build log is for. Keep going and hasta la vista, compañero!

Seb,
Welcome on the pictures. I tried to get some pictures to help with the weathering. I like what you have done so far, I imagine this will be an 1078 in Iraq.

Seb,
I'm liking this a lot. If I was into modern Army stuff I'd definitely be all over this kit when it comes out. You've really done it justice though. Very strong work.

Seb, thanks for the work on this build log. I've been waiting for the release of this truck for some time.
Some AM PE maker should be rolling out a set that hopefully will include the manufacturers plate from the front of the cab, in addition to the multitude of details that come with such sets.
My experience with this truck has shown that the angle indicator and the supplemental windscreen in the cab are correct on my trucks. Not to take away from any other experience, just that these items exist on the trucks I train on, and would be appropriate items to add to a 1078, if so inclined to do so by the modeler.
I like the Pro Art tires/wheels, although the box review said the kit tires were very detailed, I wouldn't want to tackle removing unwanted center seams from the trad of all four tires! Thank goodness for AM!

I have bitten the bullet and bought one. The Pro Art wheels look very nice as well. I see they plan to release a detail set for this kit as well, I'm sure it will be excellent too.Now what would you have to do to make this into an SF Mothership?

Hi Seb
I love that truck and now want one after seeing your blog. Only a couple of small things I see that catch the eye and I know is fiddly in 1/24 scale never mind 1/35 that you have done.
The cardboard boxes look empty and this is kind of enficized by the scatterred boxes that show the open ends. If the boxes were full of bottles water there would be a lot of weight on the scattered boxes that isn't shown. The shrink wrapped boxes look much better and look compressed from going through the wrapping process.
My thought would be to cut blocks of foam to the size you need for the boxes and fold the paper around the foam to give them more structure then maybe stack the boxes in a better fassion. Especially those that are not in shrink wrap, maybe on a pallet between the seats and on the seats themselves. Maybe as if they are to be distributed by a couple of grunts in the back.
Glued stacked as if the pallet has been opened and the boxes picked from the pallet to make the different shape would mean some of the cardboard could look slightly crushed with weight and a few opened boxes and some shrink wrap, wripped but still caught under and around the partly opened pallet.
Hope you don't mind the comments but the truck does look great.
All the best
