Is it possible that the trumpeter kit will be released by ALAN? Found a picture of this kit by ALAN on the page of modellbau-kölbel, it has the number 3501. The web got no further informations. Does anybody know something?

Browsing Hobby Search today I saw that the Pit Road boxing of the Trumpeter kit for the Japanese domestic market is expected to appear in April. What about the rest of us?

Pit Road? This likely may not be the Trumpeter kit. Pit Road produced their own B-4 203mm Howitzer many years ago (very pricey). They may be trying to get theirs out onto the market again and make a few sales before the Trump inj. plastic one hits the shelves and forever banishes their kit to ebay and model show vendors tables.

Other aftermarket dinosaurs:

MB Models Char B1 bis
MB MOdels B-4 203mm Howitzer
MB Models JS-2 Heavy tank
CMK, Mini Art 54cm Karl Morser
Azimut DUKW
MB Models M26 Pershing
AccArmour Cromwell
AccArmour M18 Hellcat
Gunze Sangyo Panther G
Gunze Sangyo, Precision and VP 15cm sFH18 Howitzer
VP sIG 33 15cm
AccArmour & VP Pz II Luchs
Azimut 28cm Leopold K5
Cromwell Models M10 3" GMC
KMC M3 75mm GMC halftrack

and the list goes on

Not sure about that Roy, don't Pit Road market the JGSDF stuff in Japan that Trumpeter distribute elsewhere? At the moment there's not enough info on Hobby Search to be sure since it's only at the taking reservations stage.

We shall see no doubt.

As I remember it Pit road showed sprues of a plastic B-4 on the Tokyo show last fall. I don't think it had anything to do with the Trumpeter release.

MonoChrome rebrand Trumpeter kits to the Japanese market, possibly through their Interallied connections.

They just released a JGSDF stickered Centauro.

The Pit-Road Soviet Army B-4 203mm is, as far as I know, a new release but I'm not sure if it's connected to Trumpeter.

Confusing no?
