This is my T-55 for the Cold War Campaign. So far I have given it a wash and drybrushed. Hopefully early next week I'll have time to weather it with pastels. I will be adding Fruil Tracks, however, I need to get some Blacken-It first. Well, what do you folks think?Questions, comments, and criticisms are always welcome.

One quick note, the little specks you see on the pictures are bits of pollen. I live under TONS of pine trees and that's what happened from being outside for about 5 min.

Here's the link (as directly linking the pictures never works for me) - http://groups.msn.com/armorama/t55forcoldwarcampaign.msnw?Page=1

I like it - looks great overall. Tamiya's DSHK AA-Gun is really nice, isn't it? I think this a nice addition to the Cold War Cook-Off Campaign Jeff.

Share more pics as you go!

Nice work. I like the drybrushing effect you achieved on the drive wheels.

Very nice work Jeff! What PE set did you use? You have done a good job all around so far. As has been said before this is a sweet kit, I am also just finishing one up. Put a wash on last night, gonna do some pastels later today.

Cheers,
Mike

Thanks for the comments!!!

Gunnie - The Tamiya gun is nice, but the one you see there is the Fruil gun. Do you remember that commercial where they'd say "what you pay for/what you get?" It was kind of like that. My folks wanted to know what I wanted for my birthday, so I asked for the T-55 and Eduard PE set for it. Well, they gave me those and the Fruil gun, Fruil tracks, and Fine Molds barrel. I was pleased and they all came together nicely, IMHO.

Kelley - I used Eduard's PE set.

DJ - I used Tamiya's Dark Green. I didn't preshade or prime, just paint right on to the model. I then lightly sprayed on Model Master's acrylic gloss, did my decals, then glossed again. I haven't yet added a dullcote, which is why some of my pics are really white.
