I'm going to be breaking out the venerable ol' beast from Tamiya. It's been sitting on my stash for a very long time and is going to get some attention.

I've been wanting to do a Ferdinand at Kursk. I'm thinking of video footage where a Russian machine gunner is shooting at the top of it. Maybe I'll add a flamethrower or guy with a mine running up to it also. Maybe just the tank in tall grass. Whatever I can do - I'm definitely in with a 1/48 Bandai Ferdinand. I'm hoping to find resin tracks and a new gun barrel for this old kit but they are long shots.

I am thinking a King Tiger, but I have not decided finally yet. Alternatively a 88mm emplacement with crew.
Looking forward to get started as soon as my work desk clears up a little.

Nice to have you around Jesper !
I'm getting addicted to this campaign thing... eheheh
I would like to try a different thing, an AA - Ariete or Challenger with a 88 or even a M113.. don't know yet.

Hello everybody:
Here my project, a King Tiger Porsche from Tamiya with the following additions:
A very classic and old Jordi Rubio gunbarrel:
Grills from Part models:
And zimmerit with Tamiya Products:
So, I started modifying and fitting the gun barrel as seen below:
So far this has been done, more coming soon.....

here's my entry: Azimut's Pak 43 L/41, cruciform mount. It's resin, with turned aluminum barrel, white metal, PE and a vacuform shield. Its an older kit, and I was able to pick up an old set of lead single-round ammo crates to go with it. It came with 5 figures as well, but I dont really like them. I'm going to put it in some kind of scene, but I'll use some other figures.
to hell with it...

It's a small 88, but the size is too small. I'll try something else..

Submission in. I have to admit, small scale is well... small. But it makes a short fun build.
As for the banner... As long as it looks cool, it doesn't matter what it looks like.

Started the airfix 88 last night. Fit is horrible the sdfkz7 in the same kit was OK. but this
is really nasty esp the road carriage. Some will need to be scratched luckily I have some
good refs in the local library.
How is this for a ribbon? 50x20 is right isn't it?
