I will be focusing on the Churchill AVRE in this blog. The only big difference from the Mk.3 gun tank is obviously the AVRE fittings for the hull sides and the different AVRE turret.

By 1944 (When AVRE Churchills were employed), extra applique armour was being fitted to the sides and front. This is an option with this kit, not included with the earlier Mk.3 kit.

Wow, AFV Churchill looks more complex and detailed than the old Tamiya one.
