Here is my latest build. It is the Tamiya M1046. It was a joy to finally finish this one I am pleased but still learning.

Any feedback would be appreciated

You did a great job.

However, you need to change your title. The kit you have pictured is the M1046 TOW Carrier. The M1025 kit has a .50 cal or Mk. 19 GMG for the weapon.

That's a very nice clean build. The only thing I'd recommend is MV lenses.

Now for a longer, more productive reply from me.......

I built this kit and thought it was an absolutely great kit. I thoroughly enjoyed every aspect of it. Here is my build

Brent's M1046 Build

I pondered 18bravo's idea of using MV lenses (Greif brand though) for my build but decided I didn't want to risk screwing the kit up. The visual effect provided by them is excellent.

I really, really like the 'stained' effect that you achieved just below the fuel filler cap. I wish I would have thought to do something similar to mine. That was a great detail for you to add.

Overall, I think your build looks great. I don't see anything significant that I would have done different. I look forward to seeing your other builds getting completed.

I looked at your 'On The Bench' list and noticed it is all modern subjects. I have been trying to streamline my collection down to modern subjects. I have several HMMWV varients, Strykers, Bradley's and M1 Abram variants scheduled to build. I'm currently in the process of finishing up the Tamiya 1/48th F-117.

Keep up the great work!

Very nice build, clean and precise. Your paint job is very good too. Maybe you could add some wiring between the firing post and the control unit.

Merci Bison, I will deffinatly try the wiring on the next one as I have one in my stash waiting again. I have been trying to streamline my stash to mostly mordern as well. I have been doing a lot of trading lately hopefully I will continue to gain more.
