I did a little more work on my project:

Stuff just put in place.

Workbench

Tool storage.

I figured there would be some sort of electric power, so made up a few shut offs.

Scott, The kit is looking really good. I drive by a number of those humvees parked behind a reverse base every day on the way home. They do not have the cross on the side so I am not sure what they are used for.

Dave, Interesting build. Looks really nice so far. Where did all the tools come from? The tool box is amazing.

Good work Scott! For a Humvee of its mighty(!) size, it looks great! I see another one at the background?

Russ, your truck came out just great. Makes me want to buy another WC 62/63 or a WC 51. The driver from Tamiya fit perfectly I should say.

Dave, your workshop truck is looking marvelous already. Lots of effort going into it I presume, but worth everthing.

Nice Jeep Tony! Like the photos with the natural background. If you can try taking photos from an inverted angle, the lens of the camera looking up to the jeep, so it will look like the real thing.

Good job all of you guys! I'm still waiting for news for our galleries, I'll let you know when I have any info.

Hey, Emre. I just picked up the WC51 myself. I liked the 62 so much I had to give it a try. They are such great kits I don't understand why they never carried out the series and did more of the variants. The 53, 55, 58 and rocket truck versions would be great in plastic. I can't afford resin. There's lots of great builds going on here. Dave, I always love your work. It always turns out great and you seem to enjoy it so much.

Todd, good luck on your build. Did this one a while back and it is an impressive kit for the scale. I've a build log in the Braille Scale forum and the suspension can be quite a challenge.

YES! the suspension is a real pain in the rear end (sorry couldn't resist that one) ... just a couple pieces left and its done and then on to the upper hull and turret ... I've been so into building that I haven't taken pics yet ... I will take and post a few tonight if I can.

Marcin and Keith, very nice builds. The figure beside the Dingo rally shows how tiny those things were.

Todd as far as I'm concerned both ends were a royal pain. Can't wait to see some of your pictures. BTW, be prepared for more pain when trying to fit the smoke dischargers.

Unfortunately, since I'm not an admin, I cannot create a gallery on my own. I know MarkM has personal troubles and I pm'ed TacFireGuru and received no response. Does anyone know who else I can contact to get our gallery up and running?

I initailly had trouble since the size of the kit is just so small and I have big fingers. But it was ok when I used my magnifier hood. The only problem that is inherent is to get all four wheels to set on the ground at the same time.

Robert, very nice job on such an ugly beast. The weathering on the subject is effective and adds to the overall results.

Robert,

Very cool looking Ford. Never seen anything like that kit before. Nice build. I can not imagine having to get out to crank the motor if the engine stalls out in the midst of gun fire.
