Would anyone be interested in an all Abrams build again? I was thinking that it could be more of a group build per say... Where each entrant builds a different Tank as there are tons of decals out there. And no two would be the same.... What you all think???

Good idea with Abrams, but I wouldn't add the condition about different tank per one contestent. Honestly speaking I don't want to spend another 10$ or so to buy decals only because somebody else have bought the same kit I have.
I'd be happy to participate but please let's plan this one for next year - this one is already overloaded.

Hay, it sounds good to me. I've got 6 or 7 M1 kits sitting around taking up space. I need to build some more of them, maybe this would motivate me.

sounds good to me....be a good excuse to start on my M1A1 HC USMC tank....why not submit for a campain if this attracts enough attention....
It would also give us all a chance to swap some markings between us. Im sure most of us have several of the Echelon sheets and i know I wont get around to building 5 Abrams anytime soon!
Heck, you could "flavor" the campain a bit and say anything Abrams related, including the mounts of Gen. Abrams himself!

Sounds great as I have an Abrams sitting on deck ready to go…sort of.
I just move into a new house (4th Mover in 3 years) and am ready to get back into building. I’ll keep a watch here to see when this build goes into the Debarkation Zone and sign up ASAPly. Looking forward to this. Should be a fun way to get back in the habit.

I would be interested.
I would keep in mind the time span of the proposed HMMWV campaign. Many of us that are already interested in the HMMWV campaign would probably also be interested in the M1 campaign.

I would be interested, since I presently working on a couple Braille Scale Abrams (LOTS of research, very little actual construction).
Hopefully I would be able to finish at least one during the proposed campaign.

Campaign was requested today witha predicted start date of 15 Oct and running thru Apr 15. I would also like to encourage people to list what their ideas are. I was hoping we could make this a sort of group build. IE if some of use have the same decal sets we could represent a platoon. This is not required but would be fun. I know i am going to do one the Echelon Set representing 1-64th second platoon ( Airline Flight barrel slogans)
Anyone else want to join???

Jeremy,
I am building an Academy kit that my wife got me for my birthday. While it has been said it is not the best kit at least my wife thought to buy it for me (beats a tie or parts for the tractor).
