Pascal, looks great. a few things. we never put the fuel cans inside the trunk due to IED's igniting them and the fuel would spread through the interior. if you did carry them it was alwasys on the out side. noticed also in the earlier photos that the RHINO was a little high. usually the are level to the ground or dipping a little. And not sure where you are making this for Iraq or Afghanistan. they do nto use them in Afghanistan. they do not use IR detonated IED's there. YET! and the storage compartments on the bumbpers were always bent and damaged after a while. it is all Aluminum. and a memo from DA came out that all those bumper were NOT to be used anylonger becasue they get ripped off and damage the vehicle. but it was up to the commander. you can only push with them. not pull. they rip off when you pull heavy loads wiith them and also are you putting a DUKE system on it? if so the DUKE box goes in the back where the fuel cans are towards the front near the wall. If you need PIC's i will try to load some and put them up. still new here and do not know how to do it yet. and do not forget about the weight of the vehicle. usually the wheels are towed out due to the weight of the vehicle. as for carring a LAW or a AT-4 in the turret we found that when they get hit with IED's and the TTP's of the AAF are to use excelerents they would blow up and further injur soldiers. so we and almost all stopped carring them. but they did used to so it does not matter. just adding the NEW thing that is in. everythngs looks great though. the mounts in the turret for the M-4 are basic mounts and are pretty much all the same. you could fit an M-4 or a M-203 in it. and in Afghanistan they have Eagle mounts on the upper right side of the turret for high elevation targets. but like i said it depends on where you are modeling this from? great work.

Thanks for you comments ;
For Tom :
"we never put the fuel cans inside the trunk due to IED's igniting them and the fuel would spread through the interior. if you did carry them it was alwasys on the out side"
Now you say it, its seems to be evident !!!
Are the water cans differents (color form ?) perharps can I change this.

"noticed also in the earlier photos that the RHINO was a little high. usually the are level to the ground or dipping a little"

Now the Rhino is from the right length see pics below

"And not sure where you are making this for Iraq or Afghanistan. they do nto use them in Afghanistan. they do not use IR detonated IED's there"

That a great information. I never make this remark. After a quick search effectively there is no pics from Afghan humvee with Rhino.
My humvee can be in Irak without problem as there is no significative markings for the unit.

" and the storage compartments on the bumbpers were always bent and damaged after a while. it is all Aluminum. and a memo from DA came out that all those bumper were NOT to be used anylonger becasue they get ripped off and damage the vehicle. but it was up to the commander. you can only push with them. not pull"

Sure but one day they were new and were in action so no default.

"lso are you putting a DUKE system on it? if so the DUKE box goes in the back where the fuel cans are towards the front near the wall. If you need PIC's i will try to load some and put them up."

yes there is a Duke now but we have no information for the system as it is surely classified "secret".
So if you have pics be carefull for this point perharps did they cannot be published.
Pics can be send via private messages

". as for carring a LAW or a AT-4 in the turret we found that when they get hit with IED's and the TTP's of the AAF are to use excelerents they would blow up and further injur soldiers. so we and almost all stopped carring them. but they did used to so it does not matter. just adding the NEW thing that is in. everythngs looks great though. the mounts in the turret for the M-4 are basic mounts and are pretty much all the same. you could fit an M-4 or a M-203 in it."

We're speaking about this , early in the post;Ii search M4 in 1/35 to put it in the right place. So LAW and M4 are coming ASAP ;-)

Pascal, as for the DUKE system the "SECRET" part of the it is the encryption inside of it. the box it self has nothing to do with it. well besides house the componets. I have seen a few PIC's on the net of the box. the other componets i have PIC's of and can send you private if you want. just got to load them up and push send. let me know.

Pascal, simply Wow. Very nice job indeed. Just few weeks ago I saw that conversion on luckymodels website and I knew I had to get one. But after looking at your master piece. I think I will have to get one Now and start building.

I haven't read through the whole thread and I'm sure the answer to question might be in there but I still have to ask: In front of the bumper what is that long pole with black box at the end? TIA.

its called a "Rhino" its used for PIR initiated IED's or EFP's, basically it creates an IR signature in front of the vehicle to prematurely detonate the IED/EFP

That's one fully loaded HMMWV Pascal. Looks great. May I ask what you used to replicate the thick armoured glass n the turret?
