Just got a copy off EBay from HK. Looks like a nice kit. I am very glad they finally released it and I hope it will be a good seller. Possibilities are really endless with this one.
Nice work Dimitry !
I've just picked up the same kit on E-bay from South Korea, and it's arrived in the mail.
Did you order the the OMSh Type MasterClub tracks (MC135048CL) ? These are the early ones I beieve...
I'll order those also - I'll be interested in seeing how they fit on your T-62.
Cheers
Paul

OK, I am pretty much done now. I still can't find the ModelKasten tracks, but the MasterClub are on the way. Hope to start painting by the weekend.

Looks even better, are the tracks wrap around or individual link?
As to the 9-11 sale faux pax....well they removed it immediatly and I believe made an apology, so if ya'll want to boycott well fine, me I don't cut off my nose to spite my face. Money is precious, and they made a mistake and maned up and took care of it rather than saying we have our rights like a female country band did several years ago

They are individual link traxcks. Really well made with no puchout marks - easy clean up. I just like to be able to paint everything separately so I wanted workable tracks.

I guess it's a blessing in disguise that I'm broke -I'll have some time to see what other versions come out, and choose, instead of rushing to buy it now. Which I would totally do.

OK good news is that MC tracks are here and fit perfectly. Bad news is that they are taking a while to put together. here is one of the T-62 with primer - sorry about the pic quality:
And here are the tracks:

The tracks look great! I have the clickable set and they worked out perfectly for a Tiran 5. I'm looking forward to the progress - how are you going to paint her up??

MasterClub tracks came from www.historicabooks.com - a very quick and reliable seller!
I think they sell for under $30. If you have access though, I would still go with Modelkasten - I think they are better and much easier to assemble. With MC, every link needs 4 holes drilled !!! MK are more sturdy as well.
As far as color I will go with green - what other option is there for a Soviet 1960's vehicle ?
Now how dusty and muddy to make it is the real question. I think I will go with a pretty clean look, but that is under internal debate now.

You can also get the Masterclub tracks from hobbyeasy.com in Hong Kong. I think they are cheaper there and the shipping would be less for you in Malaysia.

I felt like a little boy when my package arrived this afternoon and I instantly forgot to gave my girlfriend a kiss, lol.
I think this will be a out of the box production execpt for the fenders. They do look good but al lot of pin marks on the underside.
I'm a bit disapointed that the T54/55-62 Friuls do not fit over the Trumpeter sprockets, Friul did not offered a sprocket. The Trakz damaged road wheel set does also not fit on the axes. So I think I wil go for the Masterclub set too.
Nevertheless I'm still happy!
Off to the workbench now,...

Looks like its getting around. 2 hints:
1. MC tracks are fine, but consider MK if you can get them.
2. The drive sprockets, if glued using their guides, lead to teeth not lining up - BE AWARE. I had to saw mine back in half to make the tracks fit.
DK
PS: Still working on the MC tracks. I think 10+ hours for a set is a little too much for my taste.

There are more possibilities than green overall.

Nice clean work so far, lovely kit.
I don't think any detail sets made for the Tamiya T-62 will work on the Trumpy one because the Tamiya one is closer to 1/32nd scale.
Here is a pic of the Fruils' on the Tamiya T-55. They seem ok to me
cheers

Looking good Dmitry! One thing , though, the light above the shell ejection port should face to the rear.

Just ordered the MC tracks too, they can't be more challenging then the PT-76 workable tracks.
As for the sprockets, I noticed... Had to apply some surgery too.....
