Would you please post a pic that shows the "face" of those tracks?

Thanks

I am actually done now with construction. Tracks took 3 days, but look OK. Unfortunately due to loose fit of the wheels and need to paint parts prior to assembly, I cannot take pics of the finished product. Here is how it looks now:

Marc, thanks for that link. I know there are many options, but I think on this one I will go green again - maybe play around with much a little

Rick, I think Friuls do not fit well. At least IMHO. Here Terry's review - to me looks loose.

Joe, here you go:

Sean, I think the lamp is OK, at least according to my ref:

Thank you,

Hope to start thinking of paint this week!!!

Honestly, I think the light above the shell ejection port is restored incorrectly. It is supposed to face rearward for night marches etc... Maybe I am wrong, but I do not think so.

Actually, on second thought, you guys are right - that light should face backwards. Trumpy coped the Ukrainian vehicle in the pic too closely...

I'm always resistant to use museum pcs as TRUE references. I was going to make the same comment - The lamp is also absent on some of my ref pix for early models.

That's a nasty cut Dmitry The fit of the roadwheels is indeed very poor. I finally managed to put the Friul tracks on the suspension. I have used a Legend Achzarit sprocket which fit on the Friuls (more or less )

I will post some pics soon.

Lot of love,
Jurjen

Did you notice that the rear hull plate is at an incorrect angle?

It should meet the upper engine deck plate at aprox. 45 degrees.

A couple with wheels. IMHO the wheel fit is very terrible. Makes these steps very painful. The wheels have to be glued in to make this work...

OK, one with tracks. Oops --- have to add 4 more links.

Now some lighter greens. I always like my models more when I start with this terribly light color.

Flawless finish you've got there. Great. Your photography skills are almost as impressive as your skills with the plastic. I really like the looks of this kit, have to pick one up.

As usual, top notch work, Dmitry.

You mentioned the issue with the wheels, and I'm wondering if it's a matter of sloppy fit with the hub/axle, or something else?

Too bad about the wheels....... looks great though AND with your usual photog skills. Do they provide any film for the periscopes?

I can't wait to get one of these kits.........

I am new to the floor wax approach. How was this applied, brush or airbrush?

I receive my T-62 tomorrow. You have a very nice build going there!

Thanks

Dustan, I was applied with an airbrush. Very to apply too.
Its good for decals and also gives that sheen that is good for Soviet green and makes the pigments apply better.

Couldn't resist putting on the tracks and discovered another issue. The front roller sticks out too much and the tracks look funny in the front. I am not right off sure how to fix this one! Will require some thought...

Still looks good with the tracks on though:
