Here is my First attempt at a whitwash. Still lots of detail painting left to do and it is a redo of one of my first kits so it is probably full of errors. I just want to know if the overall whitewash looks convincing or not.

For my money,I like to see more of basecoat coming thru,it shouldn't be as uniform.I think the whitewash coat would take more wear and tear on heavy traffic area.
just my humble opinion
also, there is a whitewash campaign in the photo gallery, check it out for some idea's

Hey Ryan
What did you use to apply the whitewash? This could help in further work on it to get the basecoat showing through further, if you want that angle
Looks good to me though I have no idea what the Germans used to apply whitewash.

Well, I do more wear and tear in my Tiger, but its about tastes.
Maybe you need to change the under color in some areas, I only see the yellow camo, but perhaps are the pics.
Good job in the tracks also.

Thanks guys. I was actually worried I was over doing the base coat showing through so I toned it down.Lol. I will add more wear.
I did a 3 tone camo is underneath the whitewash but it didnt show through as well as I would have liked . the paint wear is actually stippled on so it is easy enough to add more or remove it if necassary.
