Count me in.
i have 5 kits in 48th scale but i don't know which to start, so it won't be a problem to wait a little more and decide which build.
cheers

Nah, sorry, the campaign doesn't start until September 2010 and the idea of campaigns is to start and finish it within the given time frame (also, see rule number 4 of the campaign).
I hope you will join with something else though!
Cheers!

Count me in. I'm planning on my first 1/72 kit for the Sherman Campaign, then I'll move right into my first 1/48 kit for this campaign. I just ordered the 1/48 Tamiya M4A1, and I plan on adding a crew and base.

Welcome to the campaign Michael!
I have added another rule to the campaign, as it was suggested in several threads and by Gary Kato:
"A picture of the unstarted model must be posted in the forum." This is to make sure that people don't enter models they have built before the campaign or models of other people. Preferably there is a date somewhere in the picture (for example a newspaper).
I hope you can all live with that! Hopefully we'll be discussing who bilds what before we start anyway!
Concerning the ribbon I got one vote for number 2 and 0 for the other, that's 100% of the votes to number 2 at a participation rate of 5%... You gotta love statistics! So I'll use number 2... Man, you guys sure like democracy...
Cheers!

Hmm, difficult... Well I don't want to be too harsh, after all it is about having fun. But maybe if you can find another kit by September you could do that one? Otherwise just post a pic of the kit as is September 1st and we'll see then. OK?
Cheers!

Hi Anthony
Well, technically we're on Armorama, so that would imply armor. Bur since we're having soft skins and artillery pieces I'll allow a good ol' Civil War connon any day. Am reading Jeff Shaara's "The Last Full Measure" right now so it fits my mood...
To all: This Campaign is NOT limited to WWII, just ground forces in 1/48 scale. So sign up and bring in your Humvees!
Cheers!

I'm probably in on this one but I don't know at what point I'll start, the campaign runs for a long time and a 48th scale kit is a quick build. I'm thinking somewhere along the lines of Tamiya's Hetzer with the Hauler Starr conversion set, that should be fun.

Just signed up -- haven't built any AFV in 1:48 though. Will put in a BANDAI Nashorn for the campaign which I got as a Christmas freebie from the LHS years back. Cheers, Tat

Sebastian and Tat, welcome to the campaign!
So we have 38 participants. 10 more would be fitting number for this campaign, wouldn't it? A little over 2 months to go!
Cheers!
