This is the tamiya m-26 OOB , about the only thing i had to add was the lifting eye on the right hand side of the turret. I also added a few ammo bags from the tam. accesory kit . I tried to use future floor wax for the mud , not much luck so i ended up using testors semi-gloss clear coat . I tried to make the tank look " wet " by using the clear coat . This kit is a easy and enjoyable build . As allways all comments are welcome . http://groups.msn.com/_Secure/0RQDYAicTO3Vp8!klOVeuIw!PkdbSLupje9EXUpDCSeNKzS!6BEscz!*ivsUkDXTevb*rJbwk*qtJS!MdbkbixlZDTw3eH7mAjGaque0*at4/100_0921.JPG?dc=4675431124840897499http://groups.msn.com/_Secure/0RQDTAikTs3Vp8!klOVeuI7m*5z0cVNBgXXQ!fiLd4dXG76P6lwj3RD6MkQ6a8!ormd5UKG3HwRINASRusxyvwTnyttnTUZk!xBaIIXs0NKY/100_0923.JPG?dc=4675431124895602656http://groups.msn.com/_Secure/0RQA4AyoT73Vp8!klOVeuI23LB*3fkggMwlQFRCJIXuGK7jVpAM3LfT!jNg!U5yPb2ghVyGljpihziPCGucwzxRhmv0fahevixJIBAyi*OB4/100_0924.JPG?dc=4675431124915513806http://groups.msn.com/_Secure/0RQCmAi0To3Zp8!klOVeuIykLSHSu!gHIVRQhc3SjRzEmz8cJHlHLJe2*Qfc42b6MFHrE4qS*0SVzwTKnxXngprow4q*biEFjPIm67Nhsgjs/100_0927.JPG?dc=4675431124995198175

I like the actual use of the Tamiya adjustable suspension. If you could, could you du;ll down the exhaust color,it still looks a bit glossy. Also the folded up tarp is a bit glossy too.I think they were still using canvas in the 40's no synthetic tarps, yet. We did have some issued to some of our vehicles in the 70's.

Thanks for posting your Pershing pics. If I can make some suggestions:
1) I don't think the .50cal tripod would be mounted externally. Inside the fender storage lockers is a spot for one of them.
2) stowage on the rear deck: the two boxes don't seem to be lashed down anyway. Also most pics I've seen of pershings, the crews kept that area clear (for turret clearance). How would they survive the jarring and bumping that a tank does?
3) pehaps it's just the pics but the commander's cupola vision prisms are very vivid -- maybe tone them down with some pastel chalk?
Again, I hope you find my comments useful.

Turretoad, on top of what the other said, in my view the separation between the wet and the dried mud and the dusted part is a bit too sharp, you should try to do it in a more "progressive" way.
What I love is the position of the model on the base which makes a very good use of the working suspensions.
Ciao
