My Gepard is an old part-built kit from a friend that I'd need to deconstruct before rebuilding - would that be ok? (He did some work on the radar unit and guns, but it wants reworked.)
Tom
I think that would be fine! I feel that all of us would feel it was OK as long as the "rework" wasnt just a coat of paint. But it sounds like your going to rebuild the kit, so I say go for it (and in some way it will be more challenging)
look forward to seeing the progress

Good, I am in and this solves a small dilemma. I have been colecting M24 Chaffee bits to do either an M37 HMC or an M19 GMC for the Korean War Campaign that kicks off after Christmas. Now I start the M19 for this in October and carry on with the M37in the New Year.Love it when a plan comes together!

I'm going to enlist in this campaign. I will be building either a Humvee Avenger, Sgt. York DIVADS or a Trumpeter LAV-AD.

Andy,
Thanks! I'll post a pre-op pic to show what little was done before I deconstruct!

- and I just picked up the Tankograd book on the Gepard with its 1:35 plans, so now I know where to cut & re-align the hull to get the wheel spacings correct!

Hi guys,
I just signed up. I'm glad this campaign came along. The M730 Chapparal in my stash has been calling my name.

Hi folks,
I just got a Tamiya 1/35 Gepard. A cold war animal built on the Leopard 1 hull... But first I have to finish a shed load of other kits!

I'm up for this campaign. I'll take a crack at my own take on mounting an 88mm flak gun on a converted Mark IV chassis. I have an old DML Mark IV that I'll combine with a Tamiya 88.

I'm in, only my second campaign, but I like the idea of having a deadline.
I have the Alliance FAMO 8.8cm Flak 37, and the Tiger models version. I've plans to do an in-box review comparison of the two, and then a build log. I have two FAMO bases built and ready for the conversions.
Finishing early 2011 would be good with me.
