Thanks for the extension. This will nicely cover my move to a new flat and the new, large hobby room.

Well Mark, it might be the correct length but on the photos it looks longer than the usual PzIV MG.
That aside, the 88 gun looks really impressive on the tracked chassis on the PzIV

This is the GWH kit. It sat in a partialy assembled, unpainted state for many many months...With this campaign drawing to a close it somewhat motivated me to focus and get it done. Just finished painting over this past weekend. I still want to add some more scratches, gear, pigments, and other things..but for now its done.

At least I can earn the ribbon for my own campaign!

Well, thanks for the extension, here it is my 1/35 Gaskin, it is a DML kit, very simple but a nice kit once it is finished; hope you like it.

Happy Modeling

Is it for real??? We got an extension?? I'm just through with a stressful move (stressful because of several things), during which I had no time to model (and everything was boxed up anyhow for weeks), and I'm going away from 11 days on Thursday -but I have a FAMO 88 conversion in the works (1/72)... "Only" minor things, but definitely more than two hours' of work... Please someone tell me I get a week after the 22nd of August.

Yep, a 2 month extention...so you should have some time to get your conversion done!
Will be looking forward to seeing your progress!

Hey Paul,

Great gd video! I'm even tolerating the German metal band! Surely there's a demand to make aftermarket resin SAMs for the sides of the turret at the very least!

@ MBR: Your definately winning the skirts on/off debate after that Youtube clip!

@ Lapman- Great Shilka!

Later,

Eoin

OK, I'm finished for now... I need to figure out how to attach the small grab handles, and wait until the linseed oil dries up. (It'll take ages.) It was a real tough conversion for me - I think I learned a lot. (Especially to stick to easy-to-do projects...)

Hi Everyone,

I'm going to go with one of these two kits. I ordered both and will decide once I get my hands on them. This Campaign works out great for me as I just finished up my entry for the Sherman Campaign. Not sure if I will build OOB or include some aftermarket stuff

1:35 Dragon SdKfz 251/21 Ausf D Schutzenpanzerwagen - Drilling MG 151 w/ Bonus Features #6217

1:35 Dragon SdKfz161/4 2cm Flakpanzer IV "Wirbelwind" ~ Smart Kit #6540

I have finally finished my build! It is very late and I'm grateful for the extension that was given. I had some issues with some of the PE purchased for this build so you won't see any PE cabinets as I could just not get them to fit properly.

Here is one image of the finished model and you can find the rest in my album.
