All the items you see in all the these photos are made of sheet brass and styrene. An now the brass rack mounts are glued to the styrene mounting points. "Next"

On the folded rack mount I added smaller styrene rods to look like screws and or bolts heads.

Then to make the rails look a bit more real I drilled out the ends.(I hope you can see the holes).

I thought I should add some tubbing for the engine's exhaust line and air filter.

Sorry for the fuzzy photos.

Thanks "Paul" Now I'm not going to fully wire up the engine bay as I have alot of work to do in the APC's interior. I'm also going to add three(3)or four(4) Warriors figures.

Some excellent scratchbuilding details exhibited so far and they really do improve the aging Tamiya kit.
Being a lover of I.D.F. armour, I shall follow this with interest - great stuff!

For self made super-detail it's really nice. I personally like doing this type of scratchbuilding.

Thank's "redcap" and "slodder" for your comments guys. I got this IDF armor (HC) book in last week. I have bean using it to help in my build of that Merkava project. An in this book they have over 100 color photos of IDF old and newer armor. An I'm verey happy to tell you all tht there's info in it on this project as well. There's some interior photos of the M113 Nagmash Ambulance (AMEV) - Armored Medical Evacuation Vehicle variant. Oh and the name (Nagmash) means APC, so you could simply say M113 APC Ambulance. As the book states it. I also read the one of the books Authors used to work for (IMI) Israeli Military Industries. His name is "Marsh Gelbart" who specialised in the development of Israeli armor.

Guys there's even 12 color pages on the Caterpillar D9 L "Dubi" and the older Cat D9 R also nicknamed "Dubi". witch will help me when I start my full scratch build on the D9 L. I must say any of you that like to scratchbuild as I do, should get this book.

Hey Cave, I like that you chose the "old dog" to do this, and by the way, your work is great!

As with Scott, I like your style of detailing, and is the style I choose to follow ( displine ? )

The after-market is great and needs our support, but we all need to get down and dirty and create!

Dude that engine bay is TOO cool! People don't get it. The orginal Manufacturer (M-113) was Food Machine & Chemical Co. They used Mopar 361 B engines. The actual application designation was something else. But again great work!!

I hope my diesel V-6's come out half as good.
