The most accurate wheels for a Tiger, in my humble opinion, are the new-tooled ones in Cyber Hobby's current Mid Tiger (6660). The wheel hubs are all more accurate than Model Kasten. The set will presumably appear in future Tiger kits too.

p.s. the kit does not contain enough parts to leave off all 8 outer wheels on a side; only the 4 outermost ones. I don't know if Dragon have plans to support Transport Mode for Tigers, but if they decide to sell it as an accessory pack with narrow tracks, it will also need to contain a sprue of hubs.

Hello Batsaikhan

Here you go; track cable on the hull side (Voyager model steel wire & PE, Dragon tow eyes);

Just the OVM tools to do now & then we're done for Tiger 131.

Thanks for looking!

Bovington Tiger assembled using 1/35 Tamiya DAK Tiger I as base-kit, Voyager Model PE35062 upgrade, PEA055 Gepack Kasten, Voyager Model resin Feifel hoses, MasterClub Tiger I, early tracks, RB Model brass antenna, a few bits of Dragon styrene (OVM tools & mantlet) from the spares box, Tank Workshop Tiger I glacis plate, TMD asymmetrical Tiger I turret and (last but not least) a Panzer Art Tiger I barrel with muzzle cover;

I hope you liked it! It seemed to take longer than usual, but hey-ho, at least I got there in the end.

Thanks for dropping by!

Lovely work Bill. Lots and lots of extra detail there...

It looks like an aftermarket magnet .. If you ever get short of cash you'll be able to weigh it in for the brass..

Grant.

Hi Grant - thanks for that. The one tiny shame is that without Friuls the Tiger is still light, even though festooned with all that metal!

So, next step in the Tiger Evolution is Tiger 323, Muncheberg Div - Berlin 1945. From a former discussion we ascertained that this might be a March 1943 build, so I will follow that specification (of course, there are a number of retro-fit modifications to add to the build).

There has been recent photos on Tiger Im Focus of the left side of the turret wirth a whopping great big Swastika on it - I don't think I will include that, despite it being a Pz Div Muncheberg addition according to the pundits.

Thanks for looking!

Gawsh! A months flies by & you turn around...

Just waiting for PE detailing now. The tracks are AFV Club, the PE & barrel are Aber, all light styrene is Dragon, the other stuff is Tamiya. Spare tracks are Friul.

Ciao!

Earlier in the build process I swopped the circular wire hubs for the angular roses from DML6252, which were introduced later than the Leningrad Front according to my references, so that is a mutually satisfactory 'donation'.

Tiger 323 is the one on the left.

Cheers!

Hi Bill. Been a while since I dropped in last, but good to see you´re keeping the show going. Some amazing work as always. Nice to hear you are documenting the changes on the Tiger Werkstätte site ... bookmarked already. Had a quick glance there tonight, but I´ll be back for more.

Hi Guys!

Following yet another Cyber Hobby White Box Tiger I announcement I think I need to make some room in the modelling stash, so I have decided to sell on some non-Tiger related 1/35 Panzer kits with PE, white metal & resin super-detailing sets 'all inclusive'.

For a full list and prices, please follow this link;

Panzers for Sale!

Thanks for looking & happy modelling!

Thanks!

Having completed March 1943 and part-built April 1943 I decided to step out of the line and build one of the recently-released CH Mids. So far I have added Zimmerit to half of the hull and the turret - the mantlet and hull sides are next for pasting!

Phil; I hope you're proud of me...I tried my best, honest. I used Milliput standard two-part putty & the ModelKasten Zimmerit rollers (the larger being my favourite for the turret).

Catch you all soon.
