Lap Man,
Nice truck! My finished product will be a little smaller
Andrzej, I hope to have mine done tonight. The cables were giving me fits, but the building is done and the basecoat is drying as we speak. I'll try to get the detail painting done later on today...

Thanks to Andrzej's willingness to give me a short extension I was able to finish the welbike. It would have been finished about three days ago, were it not for the fact that I managed to drop the bike during painting, breaking apart in five or six different pieces. After some rebuilding and much , I finally finished.
The welbike is painted in Tamiya dark green with some subtle weathering. I did not add any decals even though both the bike and container had some markings. Only the Tristar kit comes with decals for the two of them. Since I have both the Tristar and Dragon kits in my stash I may try my hand at a build log, comparing the three bikes.
Here are the pictures:
I may still do some touch ups here and there and work on the tires, they look kind of crappy in these pictures.
Andrzej, thanks for running this campaign and for letting me finish past the deadline. I hope my entry is a worthy addition. Pictures have been uploaded to the campaign gallery...
