I saw these two test shots a wile back... and Hobbyeasy has it on preorder and they moved the release date back to Dec 31. I guess they're still working on the parts!

Hope it doesn't get pushed back a lot more than that!

I'm all for smaller companies and unique, sought after releases, of course accompanied by extended development and smaller production numbers, but I'm beginning to lose faith in this...

If a company isn't 99% sure of a release date (even give or take a few weeks), then they shouldn't bother announcing it altogether. It will save us some disappointment and themselves a headache.

Hey folks, fingers crossed this wont be too much longer - Im hoping its available at the melb expo in June.

I (along with most people who pre ordered I guess) received email from John X about release date.

here it is in entireity.

"Dear Sir/Madam,

I would like to take this opportunity to give you a small update with how the Bushmaster kit is progressing.

The kit is in the final stages of development, we are currently doing the final corrections to the moulds which thankfully are not that many, the decals have been printed and the box art design is at the printers ready to be printed any day now.

If all goes to plan the kit will be ready for release May/June. I have attached three photos of the built up kit which was built up from the 2nd Test shots below , I hope you like them!

Just in case any of you have run out of kits to build while waiting for the Bushmaster to be released, I have attached a pdf file containing our prices in Aust$$ with GST included for the entire range of Bronco model kits, that will be arriving very shortly approx 3-4 weeks.

If you see anything you would like to order please email me with your order at [email protected]

Australian customers have free postage for any Bronco orders valued over $50.

For customers outside Australia we will be charging you shipping at actual cost. Again please email me with what you are after and I will give you an accurate postage cost to your destination.

Finally I would like to thank you for your continued patience and support with the Bushmaster project."

and then a few more pictures. To me they lok pretty much the same as the original ones so I wont post them.

So now everyone knows!

I can't wait for this puppy...

Hey folks,

Update on this model.. I held it in my hands the other day -- the latest revision version.

I have seen all the sprues, ( about 6 of them) , TWO photo etch sheets including all the harnesses for the seats !, and the decal sheet- There is included oin the decal sheet RAAf decals, the markings for U556 or 7 I think, and the hex camouflage tarps are included for the spare wheel, already cut to shape. Tail lights are clear parts. the wheels apparently are still undecided what material to mould from, but the choice lay between a traditional black rubber? ( which I did not see), or a cream soft resin. the tyres I saw were hollow - not solid (soft cream resin ones)! The kit will come with two weapons - a mag.58 and an L2a2. The new revision has included the anti slip coating on the upper surfaces - remind me alot of the m1117 guardian kit in pattern.

where are the photos you say ? you all have permission for one free slap. I left the damm sd card in the laptop on sunday night and took a camera on monday without it that has no internal memory.. useless camera. however I did take some very shakey video camera footage - about 30 seconds I think, but i will have to upload to youtube which i have never done before. will post link when I figure it out.

Spoke with John and he was optimistic about a release within two months, his word were "by the start of next month" however, I prefer to wait uintil the kit is in my hands.

I am told also that there will only be a run of 5000 vehicles. Thats it. However as I was discussing my plans to use this vehicle, he started talking about conversion to the Thales flat bed ute version. Apparently the Army has just ordered 100 of them ( the pic above of the brown truck like thing). And he said he might do a ute version.. ( so why would I do a conversion? as soon as I did he would bring out a proper one..)

The only other piece of information I had was the sprues look very clean, the decal sheet was about a5 in size, and the flags on the decal sheet he had there on his stand the actual ones that were in afghanistan on the exact vehicle he has supplied the decals for. nice !

so yeah video as soon as I figure it out..

Any questions I will happily answer fromw hat I saw. There were no Dutch markings, and a select few RAAF ones.

Decals - 3 piece tarp decal.. not sure what the camo squares are for unless the seats are camo?

note the spare wheel tarped..

note the old version at the back, and the newer revision at the front with the anti slip..
