G'day all,
We all know the old saying, scratchbuild it and someone will do it in plastic.
I have just had the pleasure of speaking to a very nice bloke by the name of John Xigalatis from Showcase Models Australia, who has shown me (and quite a few others) his soon to be released 1/35th Bushmaster IIMV in plastic. Yep that's right, PLASTIC!!!!!!!!!!!!
Here are a few shots of the resin master. Should be out by Sept-Oct.
Looks good to me.
Watch this space for more info.
Cheers Jason

Wow, that looks nice! Plastic too eh, is this the start of a new trend?
This one is on the list of contenders for the Canadian TAPV project - there was one at a defence exhibit painted in Aussie cammo, but with black Canadian Maple Leaf stencils...

There would also be an opportunity for a nice reference book on this great subject...
I'm sure that'll happen also (lets hope so)

The price is in Australian Dollars, so it's less than 42.00 euro. A great price in my opinion.
I will get one as soon as possible as the detail looks excellent and this particular subject is extremely interesting with its special three color camo.
I had a contact with the guys who own Showcase Models Australia
(they are Greek-Australians) and we hope that the model will make its Europen debut in IPMS Hellas Nationals that will take place in Athens from 20th to 24th Oct 2010.

Jungle Jim
Did you have something to do with these wheels? In one shot they show the rims in the other wheels on the rims.
Gotta have one of these.

Hi Bill,
No, not that I'm aware of. I was done with the BM wheels once the master was on it's way to the new owner.

Absolutely stunning!! Can't wait to preorder one of these bad boys. With the recent release of Legends M88 Hercules conversion for the AFV Club kit the potential for more Aussie Armour is at our finger tips.
I still say Armorama should start an Aussie Armour Forum all on its own. Cheers!!
