I'm still fine-tuning the sanding and filling of the turret halves and upper to lower hull is still separate so no exterior tools, etc are added yet. I picked out a pair of Gasoline figures to fit the turret (pretty perfect I think
). You can't see much of the interior below the turret so I won't be adding too much painting detail down there. I have to say, this was a very fun build to do, and I liked building the interior. Comments always welcome

Thanks Scott. Good to be here. Waiting on a delivery of Tamiya OD so I can move on to finish the interior and seal the hull up.

Paul, just took another look to checkout out your two figures. Damn, they're good. That's one thing that I'm determined to learn how to do.

Joel and Greg thanks for the kind words
I'm drawn to all things Olive Drab at the moment, so the shading and weathering is improving on each project I do in that color. Hopefully I can keep improving.
Now I need to finish that Tasca Firefly I've enrolled in the "Get the Job done" Campaign
Cheers

I'm still waiting for some Tamiya OD paint from China so I can close up the hull and finish the outer gear. Today I realized I could at least finish the turret so here it is. I finally decided on a TD to base my build on and chose "I Don't Want A" (A company)

That's looking pretty solid! Where'd you get all the gear for the turret? And I see you're using a Mac...if you want a picture of what's on the screen press and hold "Command" + "Shift" + "4" and the cursor turns into a crosshairs. Click and drag to make a box around what you want a picture of, release, and then look at your desktop for a new .png file. Alternatively, if you want the whole screen, "Command" + "Shift" + "3" and you get it all!

Nice work Greg. I feel your pain on the paint I have to get all mine on line! The nearest model shop to me is a ferry journey and a 2-3 drive.

@Robby - Thanks a lot as I didn't know that about the Mac!! - I came from a PC background. The gear came molded on the rack with the kit; and then I added a few Tamiya; Legend. (1/48 Kengi resin Hellcat).
@Scott - I have 1 hobby store 45 min away so not too bad considering your swim/drive time
My paint came in the mail today too, so can get back to work.

Belive me, I feel your pain about paints, supplies, and even models. Yet I have not one, but three hobby shops near me. Two are less then a mile, and one is a 1/2 hour drive that specializes in plastics. Unfortunately, the closest one is into RC, and the other is more of a everything type of store. None ever have a complete line of Tamiya, Model Master, or Humbrol paints in stock. Even driving between all three usually is an adventure of frustration. And lets not even talk about Tamiya Extra thin, or Orange cap liquid glues. X20-A is like gold around here.
It's gotten to the point where I order all my supplies from Sprue Brothers. It's a pain because you can't just order one or two bottles of paint as there is a min shipping requirement.
I'm slowly switching over to Life Color paints, and order enough for the current project, plus base colors needed for all, until I have everything needed.
