Its not what was said. Its how it was said. This is someone who is new to the sight. We need to greet him in this manner. Its not like he was trying to recreate a pic out of a book. Maybe its just me but some of us need to get off of our high horse.

Very nice dio. Where did you get the T-rex?
Thanks, zon

You can be creative all you want, and have dinosaurs and what not.. but the laws of physics will still apply. Rifles won't just cling to the soldier.. unless, of course, it has some pretty strong velcro patch.
Gino is quite right in his comment about "SMALL DETAILS". Even if you build a dio based on some fantasy... the attention to small details (NOT HISTORICAL ACCURACY) makes the dio look a lot better. Being creative does not mean not paying attention to small details.
Having said that.. I actually like this dio, with dinosaur and all. It's something different and funny, and that's a good change every now and then.
Hisham
You know, Hisham, I couldn't agree with you more.
Sure, it's a fun, creative diorama. It's certainly different than the usual forum fare. And yes, I got a smile or two out of it. But that doesn't mean that there aren't some facets (in construction, layout, or small details) that could be improved upon or changed if the builder wished to do so.
Does he need to add rifle straps, position the T-Rex differently, or make some paint improvements because someone suggested it? Nope. It is the builder's project and he can do with it as he wishes. But as Gino said...

I didn't know we were all supposed to give only atta boys and on here now. Why can't a whimsical dio be given constructive comments as well?

This is a good project and I'd like to see it in person. I love the T-Rex as part of the scene and it certainly holds my interest. It is a 'fun' diorama but I'm of the opinion that the little details are important. If you're looking to improve and make your projects even better, then paying more attention to the details will help. Just remember, have fun with the hobby but I, like others, think the details are critical. If you want to change a few things to make the details better, then go ahead. If you don't then that's okay too. Gino and others have some very helpful points to make that will assist you in improving on the detail work, but in the end, do what makes you happy. I'm with you Gino, the details are everything.
Please post your projects here on an ongoing basis, I'd like to see more.

Thanks for all comment you guys gave to me....especially Gino's ones which comment in detail and very usefule, I will apply these, appreciate.
I know from the first day I built this dio...too many people may think that I'm crazy...but nothing can stop my imagination, right? I know this never happen in real life...but who knows..Hollywood may make film similar like this... ...
Again, welcome to all comments...even I didn't come to check you guys feed back often..
P.S. The solider who laid down beside the T-Rex was bite then suddenly the T-Rex heard the gun fires and drop the solider down the floor...and ran to jeep.

Hi Naronkorn.....You get an A+ for humor and imagination. There are truly a few things that you can fix to make it more complete but I feel that you got the main story expressed . Just my two cents worth. Nice job......Al......

Naronkorn, this is a fun dio to look at. I like the 360 degree view and with over 20 figures in well thought out poses, it shows a lot of effort went into to this and you did a very good job overall.
The photoshop effects for the muzzle flashes is also a nice touch.
I can't wait to see the controversy if the troops over at Hyperscale get hold of this one.

I think it is a great idea for a dio. You have stepped outside the norm and that is always a great thing. remember none of us were in WWII, so who knows, there might have been a T-Rex fight. the goverment would have never admitted to it if there was.

super diorama base and very nicely put together tutorial. i am a big fan of modelers like yourself you take the time to create photoshop files of your step-by-steps... and in two languages to boot!! thank you for sharing and look forward to the next How-to update. cheers, mh.
PS: i really like your imagination and the spirit of this scene. a scale modeler can always add a bit more detail and accuracy until they feel satisfied that they have done their best. i love that you have shown me something i had not expected.

Hi Hellhound,
Grad that you love it.
Actually I didn't make the presentation by myself...my wife helped me by MS Power Point then save as .jpg. She also helped me for explain all these things by asked me what need to explain you guys...
Again when I came to this commodity, Armorama. I though that I shall have a translated version to share. Again, she was helping me again for the transalter.
That's the story.

Yup, in this world of 'What-if-'46' models and dios, no one can really fault this dio for being unrealistic, could they?
(has anyone ever considered, say, that the production of Tiger 1/35th models has far outstripped the production of the real tank? Opens up the doors of possibility, and thus, creativity, eh?)
I would echo the few details some have pointed out, but of course these things take time, and if YOU like it, then more power to YOU!!
Very fun, very creative. Glad to see it.

Who says that this is unrealistic!!!! The T Rex is just another of those strange new German weapons and scientific projects. Sort of like that Philadelphia experiment. .....OK, maybe not.....Al

Great work.
I agree with all themother comments on the creativity and imagination this dio shows. This is in my view the most difficult part of out hobby to master. In some ways you either have it or you don't. We can all learn thing like composition, ballance and accurate details.
I think this work should inspire us all, I knowing has me. Keep up the good work!

Straight out of a 1950s B-movie!
Great idea for a "What If" scenario and the dinosaur is very well painted. The diorama is well done also, although the cobblestones are a bit monotone for my liking and could have done with a bit more colour contrast.
The weakest point for me is the poor figures, those low-quality, ancient Tamiya offerings.

Sorry I didn't log back in here since last my post in the forum.
Thanks a lot for your comments.
I'm agree with Steve mentioned for the quality of painted figures. I didn't have enought experience for figures painting at that time but now I believe I can do better.
Actually I now this dio is not base on realistic, even get in to the dio contest...it can not...becaues too many points to be develop. This make me know more and do better when starting in any dio project.
Thanks a lot you guys..!!!
P.S. Actually I have many projects which I had done for them but I didn't post here yet...I will try to post here...this take time for me...but I will try...
Cheers !!!!!!!!!!
