Hi....members..
Today...i have time to work for my diorama...and still make terrain.

PART I / Basic Terrain Tutorial

STEP1. Prepare FORM-BOARD & Picture Frame. and Cut FORM-BOARD to fit. I always use Picture Frame for Diorama Base.
next...cut out some to make puddle.

STEP2. add FORM-BOARD to make Road.

STEP3. cut out needless space.

STEP4. Prepare HOT Melt Glue. It`s very useful Tool for diorama.

STEP5. coat Hot Melt Glue all around puddle area. it`s very important step to avoid to leak water effect material.

STEP6. prepare two more SCALERAMA Ground Work Paint. and make your own Ground Color Paint.
I used SCALERAMA Ground Work Paint Vietnam Earth & Asphalt Road.
Before coat paint, you must use Masking Tape to protect diorama base from paint.

STEP7. mix vietnam Earth with Asphalt Road together. and pour all into the FORM-BOARD.

STEP8. prepare SPONGE tool. you can find this sponge TOOL in SCALERAMA Ground Work Paint Product.

STEP9. spread Paint widely & thinly.

STEP10. next, beat & tap at the painted diorama base. this STEP will help to remove Sponge-Print(brush print) and to make texture of soil well.

STEP11. next, prepare SCALERAMA Long Grass MATT Green Color. and cut.

STEP12. attach Cutting MATT on the base.

STEP13. remove Masking Tape.

STEP14. time to high-lighting. prepare SCALERAMA Ground Work Paint Vietnam Earth & snow white Color.
mix together and coat it. then, spread it again. we will call this mixed color to High-lighting Ground Work Paint.

STEP15. let`s make stone. Prepare SCALERAMA Rock Debris. and insert some debris into the High-lighting Ground Work Paint.

STEP16. mix together.

STEP17. arrange them on the base. Importatn thing!! there is no need to use any of adhesive materials.
because, SCALERAMA Ground Work paint has adhesive materials. Just, arrange.

STEP18. puddle, too.

STEP19. Do you have Mini-Natur Long Grass Strips? use this one.

STEP20. attach this Strips.

STEP21. Do not throw High-Lighting Ground Work paint. because, we will use this paint, again.
we need some water. mix water with paint. and use it like a acrylic paint.

STEP22. paint it widely. to control color for harmony.

STEP23. wow...finished. it takes one hour to finish all.

see you in PART.2

love, has some slick effects and high quality.
the only thing that would change the area of vegetation in the middle of the road, I think it's too perfect, with a very linear, perhaps
adding more grass in certain areas could give a more natural way.

This is the second diorama I see with elephant, as constructed above
two years ago

Hi...members...
It`s PART4 time, AFV weathering process.
and next i will add PART5 step, running Jeep & cloud dust effect.
because, it rains. it`s impossible to make cloud dust effect.
so, i will open Cloud Dust Effect in PART5.

STEP50. Do you have SCALERAMA Ground Work Paint? let`s see STEP6.
remain SCALERAMA Ground Work Paint? ok. use this one for your AFV weathering. use Fine Brush.

STEP51. Coat Ground Work Paint on AFV wheel, bumper, side area.
dry all during 30 minutes.

STEP52. Prepare Enamel Thinner, Enamel Paint & SCALERAMA
Dust Effect Powder.

STEP53. Make Thin Enamel Paint. Mixture Ratio is Enamel Paint:Thinner=2:8
or Enamel Paint:Thinner=3:7

STEP54. Insert thin Enamel Paint into Dust Powder. Mixture Ratio is
Thin Enamel Paint:Dust Powder=5:5

STEP55. Paint this Mixture materials on AFV wheel, bumber, Bonnet and other area.

STEP56. You must paint over Ground Work Paint. it`s important. then...dry 10 minutes. Do not paint too much! It`s Important Point, too.

STEP57. Next Prepare Enamel Thinner. paint Thinner over Mixture Materials.

STEP58. Next, prepare Swab or Toilet Paper. and wipe!! Just Wipe!!

STEP59. If you want to make light weathering effect, wipe dust effect clean.

STEP60. Let`s See. First STEP finished. If you want to add more deep Weathering effect. follow next step.

STEP61. Prepare Water Soluble Artist Acrylic Color not Acrylic Paint.
and make thin Acrylic Color. use Water. Mixture Ratio is
Acrylic Color:Water=2:8 or Acrylic Color:Water=3:7

STEP62. Paint thin Acrylic Color on Whole AFV body. and dry it Again!!

STEP63. Weathering Finished.

STEP64. if you want to make more dirty weathering, repeat.

NOTE. How to make Standard Dust Effect Materials?
At STEP54, paint this Mixture Materials on the sheet.

then....wipe it. ...easy to make...try it.

See you in Next Final PART5.

Hi...Members.
It`s sunny day! so, i can complete dust effect.

STEP 65. You must make Dust Flame with PVC Clear Plate, PET Bottle.
you can find this materials easily. look around.
I used PVC plate, Plastic Round Stick. Yellow Part is Masking Tape.

STEP 66. Cover Your Own Dust Flame with MicroFiber.
Reference My Diorama VIDEO Tutorials..
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BGS6tYSZJN4&feature=player_embedded

STEP 67. Let`s Spray SCALERAMA SMOKE Effect Spray.
Reference My Diorama VIDEO Tutorials..
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BGS6tYSZJN4&feature=player_embedded

STEP68. Dry all during a day. must work in sunny day.
Reference My Diorama VIDEO Tutorials..
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BGS6tYSZJN4&feature=player_embedded

STEP69. One Day Passed. When you spray it Too Much, These Small Paticles
Agglomerate together to form a large particle.

STEP70. You must remove it. and spray SCALERAMA SMOKE again.
and dry it during a day...again.

STEP71. and make a Dust Shape with scissors.
Reference My Diorama VIDEO Tutorials..
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BGS6tYSZJN4&feature=player_embedded

STEP72. one day passed.....it`s time to coat paint to protect smoke effect from
moisture. SCALERAMA SMOKE Effect Material weak in moist Air.
so, we have to coat Dust with Lacquer paint or Enamel Paint.

STEP73. I used MR. COLOR Brown and Super Clear Color.
First, spray Brown Color...... second, spray Clear Color.

STEP74. After Spray Brown Color, spray Clear Color.

STEP75. arrange Your Dust.....finished...all.

Thanks a lot.
