Would artist's clear gloss acrylic gell work just as good? I have Italeri's S-Boot which, someday, I would like to build in a similar setting (without the palm trees, of course).

Only thing I can say is the Joe under the muzzle of the rear M2HB is going to have one heck of a headache after the firefight and be deafened(and I hope he doesn't suddenly stand up). The water effects are amazing. I was pretty skeptical when I saw the first images, but quite impressive

Hello Youngbok, Don't see how I missed this one but it has my attention. I like the end result and have been toying with a simular way for the small boats I have. Do the water cubes melt into the mix or do they retain thiere shape? Your write up was well presented and easy to follow. Your water came out very well in my opinion.. And acrylic gel works great for medium size waves too.

Looks really good! But I think the water is to dark brown and I have to agree with Hugo on the bow wake, unless the boat has a really heavy load and is traveling at a low speed
