Come on guys. We only need a few more enlistments to kick this campaign off. I know there are enough shermaholics and allied war enthusiasts out there. This is your chance to show off your ability and hone your techniques.

Hi all. I'm in. Though i swore i wouldn't enlist in another campaign till next year!
Allied is my main focus so i'll build something in Braille.
Would a resin kit be ok? Was thinking of doing a Universal Carrier in Normandy. Got one in the stash.
Cheers,
Tim

Resin is fine. Scratch builds are fine. Any allied vehicle from the start to the end of WWII.

Come on guys. We can't let all those panzer-holics dominant the forums. Get out your od and 4bo and attack something.

This campaign only needs two more willing to enlist correct?

Sign on the dotted line in your blood, right?

Ah well, if the start date can be Q4 2011 I'm good for it. Got plenty ideas for this one anyway.

I was thinking a Cromwell too, but I still have a H-39 and everything I need for Ballyrashane

I never really got around to her...perhaps it's time to clean out the stash a little

Don't worry about two Cromwells. I expect to see many Shermans.

I have a Bronco British Cruiser Tank that I may do for this 1 unless I can find a decent Stuart

Sal, If you mean the A34 Comet, then have a look this Comet build over on the Dutch forum. Also Resicast did a limited edition full-resin recently, that comes with a DVD with lots of photos. Might be worth seeing if you can get your hands on it in some way.

Sal, there are at least 4 good stuarts I know about:
AFV Club: M3A3, M5A1
Academy: M3, M3A1

Sal, I would suggest the Academy M3A1. It was my first armor build after a sci-fi and wingy thing career. Built like a dream and has the option of either inditrack or rubber band type.

That is the kit i have been looking at. Haven't built a AFV from Academy yet but the 2 wingy thingys I did were very nice I have not seen any good reviews on the Tamiya 1and that's about 1/2 the price

Was checking out this topic again and it looks like we have reached the magic one-oh haven't we? Maybe we should start listing some folks who are good for this one.

I'm good for this one. I have plenty of allied armor waiting for an excuse to be built. Just don't start this one too soon

4 months? Are you sure you don't want to go through to April 1st 2012?

Yep, two more months and I could be interested. 4 months is just too short for me, experience has proved that..

A 6 month campaign would work better for me as well as I plan on starting some larger builds in October and November, and lets not forget hunting season, can't build while sitting in the woods

Indeed we have

And I need the extra time as life has a way of being more than intersting for me, and I'm a slow builder on top of that
