Looks like PSM is about to release a few upgrade sets for the Canadian Leo 2A6 from HobbyBoss.
So far I was able to find out they are going to release 3 new kits:
1x Upgrade kit with the Barracuda net for HB Leo 2A6 CAN ( new Hull and Turret etc.).
1x Upgrade kit with the "Canadian" modifications (Turret top)
1x Mineroller kit
Check this link for the first Pics:

Looks good, although I am not too familiar with all this Barracuda stuff !
Cheers

Marcel.
I think that cover Tamiya Leopard is no good. I plan barracuda for HB.

I think this is outstanding!!!
The Barracuda looks pretty good and I'll have to tooth and nail compare it with reference images. It will come down to the finishing to make it look really good.
Congrats to PSM for the excellent sets!

Set is very nice. I see photos of resin turret and hull with barracuda. I have similar idea but for big price I stopped this. I gladly buy one barracuda and one or two mine roller.

that looks really nice!!Going on my Christmas list. Am I right in assuming that if you buy the Barracuda conversion, the upgrade set wouldn't be necessary. Looks like you might be able to use some of the upgrade set parts on the Barracuda hull/turret but a lot of resin looks redundant.

I think you are right about the cross over between the Barracuda conversion and the upgrade set....hopefully we will get more details soon.

There are some accuracy problems with the new kit:
1) Crew umbrella should be covered in cudda cam and stop sign shaped, and is too far forward.
2) Cudda cam on the front of turret over hangs way too much.
3) On the roller attachment there are missing guide rods one on both sides, and the left and right markings are missing.
4) The attchment bracket looks wrong compared to the plans that I was given from the tech who made it for the Leopards.
5) Missing the "dog bone" chain from the front, linking both rollers.
Are they easy to fix,Yes, but only with good reference photos.
Still hold the record to mounting the rollers at 11mins from start to finsh.....

Hey Guys !
PSM got it on their Homepage now with better pics, price and all.

Looks like some of you guys really like this "camo-net" thing,
gives me hope that some people get what they wish for.
Still want a proper Leo 2A4
Cheers

Well maybe I'll hold off on my plans to buy the Mouse house dozer blade and just wait for these guys to come out with one for my Leopard C-1.

The first build images are a bit deceiving when compared to the PSM site images....the crew umbrella is shaped incorrectly but images can easily be sourced showing the canvas on the outside and the Barracuda on the inside as depicted in the conversion.
The umbrella postion is correct as there are two post mounts on the turret for the umbrella on the 2A6M CAN....one next to the PERI sight and the other forward next to the Commander's large vision block. Looking at the PSM images both posts are provided for the two umbrella mount positions. It would have been very nice for PSM to have provided the umbrella in the folded and stowed position as an option.
Looking at the mine roller images on the PSM site the dog bone and chain is included....whew!
I hope to get my hands on all the new PSM kits very soon to go over in detail.

The Mouse House dozer blade kit is top notch....it will be hard to compete with even if someone else produced it.

Sorry to bring this up, but after seeing the mount for the umbrella up close, the kit part is too far forward and yes even with the 2 position mount it is still far forward.
Not here to flame anything, but it was my first observations with the kit photos.

Hi!
I must admit I am a bit irritated about some comments here. There is a beautiful kit which corrects all the ugly details of the HB kit. Also there is the best replica of Cuda camo I have ever seen on a model kit. Plus a mine roller. And...if the position of an umbrella mount is nearly the only concern on this kit, I must say: I am very happy to get this beautiful kit, even if the umbrella mount may be a little off. And for the umbrella, maybe they will correct the shape later on. But again. It is just an umbrella, and most companies would have left that thing off...

The thing is, there is no excuse for getting it wrong. With all the info available on the 'net and the wealth of people willing to make their knowledge available to the manufactures and they still can't get the basics right is inexcusable.
I agree it's a nice kit and I will most likely get one.
cheers

Wonder how much the mine roller cost?
You know, the way Cdn kits have been coming out, I would not be surprised if HobbyBoss released a roller set in styrene to go with it.

Borrowed from the PSM site
The mine roller is advertised at 39.50 euro's
The rollers look to be a direct copy of the Academy KTM-4 rollers that come in their Merk II kits. The center beam of the wheel cradle should be hollow
They also claim that it's for both Leo 1's and 2's? Does it come with different bra attachments?
cheers

Someone put a lot of time into getting that Cuda cover done in resin. I've been trying different things to get the Cuda cover looking right but I'm not satisfied with anything so far.
Congrads to PSM on this one.
