Thanks, gentlemen! Between the puppy, work, my Ju388 and traveling, I've been busy! Not to busy to revisit this project- Wendy was getting bored!

What better way to learn modelling techniques then through a comic strip (with big boobs)! Very helpful info. Great work Chuck!!!!

Thanks, gents!
After a bit of a break, I'm back at this build. Wendy has gotten a bit of an upgrade since last we met!

I've been getting a real thrill out of watching your builds over on Aeroscale, this is pretty exciting to see you tackle a ground subject! Glad to see you've resurrected this thread, and how fascinating to observe the evolution of your character art!
Personally I always liked the look of the ladies during your Ju 388 build!

Looking forward to seeing how this one progresses... Definitely love the colors of the cargo and the wood grain on the crate...
Considering the Cognac I am almost surprised that there isn't a Persian carpet rolled up in that pile of equipment in the side car....

Hi Chuck,
I came across this thread last night, truly awesome work. You have the patience of a saint working with those small PE parts. Excellent blog with super craftsmanship and lots of good tips. Nice one.

It is great to see this one back on the bench. I've been practicing the techniques you demonstrate in hopes of using them to bring back some of my stalled builds. I look forward to what will come next.

Hey Chuck, I'm really glad you're still slugging away at this one! It's been an awesome build from the beginning, and the level of expertise, especially with the PE and the work you have done on the base levels and well are, well, very, very high. I, like others had forgotten about this great project.... And am glad you are posting again. But please, bring back the old Wendy, she is way hotter than the upgraded one. Can you say that about a cartoon tour guide?
I guess you can, cause I did
Keep up the great work.

Thanks, everyone! It's really rewarding to come back to this build- the bike is pretty much done and so is the Kubel. I've got the two figures to paint and a bunch of small details (I think I'll add some cats.) I've also picked up some freelance work- great news- so I'll post an update when that's done. Cheers!

Thanks, Romain! With my freelance business ramping up I've had less time for modeling- but it's business before pleasure! Here's a small but significant update- the Kubel is finally done!

Hi Chuck - beautiful work all around! Your three wheeler - quite a load! I guess a bit of a double entendres! A big literal load, and a load of cool details! Ha! Sorry, I couldn't resist - nice build
Cheers

Thanks, gents! I'm looking for any good on-line tutorials on figure painting- any suggestions? I fell like trying some new tricks. I will be using decals for the camo clothing items- could be maddening, but could be fun, too.
