I had it penciled in on my list too. The thread above doesn't indicate it was ever submitted though.
Gary, have you seen anything?
I'm not sweating it personally, because I've filled my calendar with plenty of other campaigns, and I never bought a kit for this one. (I was thinking of an M-20-- would Constabulary paint scheme discount it as recon though? I wanted to have a Constabulary piece in my collection. Might have to wait for the next jeep campaign.) Still, this is a cool idea, and if it goes later, still count me in!
thanks,
Sean H.

No problem there Scott was just wondering. There are 2 campaigns starting tomorrow, and this 1 seemed like a good idea with enough people intrested. Maybe later in the year

I would be interested in this campaign, if later in 2012. Give me a good reason to buy a 222/232/234....... Like I really need a reason....

Never submitted but then we do have sooo many campaigns going on now with even more starting up January 1. I was planning on possibly enlisting with an AFV Club Wiesel (TOW or MK.20). Or maybe a Pit Road/Trumpter JGSDF Type 87 Recon vehicle.

Recon...
I could be in on this one - if we are planning on starting maybe JAN 2012 or later?
Some of the kits I would consider: Bronco SdKfz 221 w/ s. Pz. B 41, Dragon Aufklarungspanzer mit 2.0cm KwK 38, Tasca Luchs 4th Div., Dragon SdKfz 234/1 (hangelafette w/ 2.0cm KwK 38) or 234/3 (7.5cm KwK L/24)- are any or all of these viable for this campaign?
Hey! I just remembered! I have both of those AFV Club Weisels - the TOW and the 2.0 cm waffentrager - so if this must be modern, at least I have a lurking option (I really don't need to buy any new kits...)

Hello everyone,
has this campaign "proposal" gone and died off?
Maybe someone could take the lead in this too.
Cheers

Hay guys I must apologize for not getting back to you all on this campaign, life and other commitments have been getting in the way lately. I am also in the process of setting up my own business and it is taking up a lot of my time at the moment, I will fill you all in on the details very soon about what i am doing .
I am more than happy for someone else to take the rains on this campaign as I am not sure that I will have the time to lead this one so if someone else wants to take over you are more than welcome to do so.

Well going against my father's advice to never volunteer, I'll step in. I've gone through the thread and this seems to be the proposal
All scales
Any era
Any nationality
Any vehicle that has been used in a reconnaissance role, so no MBT's or APC'c etc. Any dio featuring troops in a reconnaissance setting/role. Anything like Sheridan's, CVRT scimitar/Scorpion/sabre, M3 Bradley would be absolutely fine.
I have added this
-Kits must be unstarted.
2 photos into the campaign Gallery, and in-progress photos onto the campaign thread.
Each member who completes at least one vehicle and uploads one image of the finished build to the campaign gallery will receive a ribbon in recognition of their achievement.
I know Jeremy asked about What ifs but I'd prefer to keep it to real vehicles / troops that were or are used in a recce role. What do others think?
What start date and length would people like- I'd like to keep it to the six months originally planned.

Hi Pat,
now youŽve done it, volunteering when someone else had already dropped a hint .
Well keep it up mate, IŽll be there with a Scimitar LEP
from Castoff/AFV club or an SdKfz 234 or SpPz Luchs or a Bren Carrier or a Jeep.....
As for start dates IŽd suggest around May next year , thereŽs quite a lot happening up till then remember.
