Hello friends,
I need to make flags for tanks and aircrafts.
If anybody know how to make flags in the scale 1:35 and 1:48? I'm thankful

Hi Luiz,
If you are planning to drape the flag on your tank, I have found moist tissue paper replicates that effect. With a good paint job (when dry) it should look convincing. Best part is you can cut it and shape it as you like. Some prefer rolling out epoxy putty and cutting out the shape needed.
Hope that helped.

Hi Luiz
Here is a video tutorial
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=s0kRNK3zTEA
Is a bad quality video but explains rather well how you can do it
here
https://armorama.kitmaker.net/forums/164355&page=1
it's a stunning model seen here on armorama. During the build log you can see how you should do to have a convincing flag
If you don't have decals, you can made your flag with a common pc printer.
Here instead:
https://armorama.kitmaker.net//features/303
You can see a more difficult method. In my opinion following this way, is hard to obtain good results...But anyway...
Hope will help you
cheers

I've heard lead foil works well for this. You made need to pic up some decals for certain flags.

Hey
Just gonna throw in a cheaper and easier method that i found, You can use tin foil and paper. Find the desired flag on line and shrink them down to size in Microsoft word. you can print a whole page of flags which makes it cheap and effective. You then cut out the flag use white glue and attach it to the foil, cute out the foil to match the size of your flag and there you go, you know have a flag that can be bent and manipulated.
