Sergio,

Incredible work, this is one of these builds that looks stunning without the paint. This build is an education on improving a kit.

Hi Sergio,

This is an excellent build, very inspirational.

I fancy trying my hand at building the Pelicases, similar to those that you have created. do you have any information on the sizes of these boxes ?.

Lookign forward to tracking your progress, kind Regards.

Nick,

About Humvee tires, this truck serves as a support for the Special Forces Humvees, if you look at the picture below you see the Super Swamper tires, in support, can see that the support is over, probably would fit two more tires, I decided to mix with the Michelin truck tires.

Hey Sergio ,
Thanks for the info. It sure helps my builds.. which are way back from yous. My pigs are still in pieces.
My eyes must be crossed, I completely missed the Swamper tires in the photo! Will you be adding bolts or something to secure them?

Are those three boxes..120mm ones ..?

I understand the trucks are mobile bases..but I'm trying to figure out "what" other stuff I can put in my 2.

BTW, Very Nice Mount for the M2!

Chris,

Thank you. The measures of the boxes are on site Pelicases, peli.com, of course I made my adjustments.

Hi Nick,

Available, I am available in can help.

I have not yet decided if I will make a device to hold the tires or if you use straps, which seems more common.

Yes, they are 120mm boxes, but are not loaded, the idea is that they were used to transport other materials. I may show an open box with things inside (chains, ropes, tools ...), perhaps?

I think I can put everything you find to be interesting and useful, boxes of ammunition and jerrycans, are monotonous. What are the real needs I do not know, but in a conflict, nothing is impossible.

I also like the new tripod mount.

Some more news.

Build a support for the ammo boxes underneath the panel truck, right side of the truck.

Before it was so.

I build and detail the interior door panels, there is nothing in the kit.

I put the wires and mics in radio communicators.

Now pictures of everything in its place.

Thank you all for follow up...

Hi Sergio,

My AEF sets remain incomplete and as AEF has ceased trading they will remain incomplete. All is not lost and I can still use some of the items that did arrive. The sets have some good items and at least they will provide some of the clutter seen on these vehicles. It was a shame that AEF did not provide the service they advertised.

I like the .50 mount it does look very sturdy and thank you for the information as www.peli.com does have alll the information you could need.

Regards

Seb,

Thank you.

The reason for my insanity, is because of the difficulty we have to find AM here in Brazil, even importing from HK. Issues sending, government oversight, time and other factors.

As an example for this model, I had two sets of Real Model jerrycan lost, and an ammunition box set of AFV, which returned to the sender. A purchase stood in the Federal Customs for more than six months. Paints and materials assembly has also returned.

This is the main reason for everything.

I guess customs being equal to terrorists is a regional problem then.

Thanks for your reply Sergio.
It's too bad about your local postal service...... Are the problems "specific" coming from particular countries, or every?

Well, I'm going to add some 120mm boxes as well to mine. As I follow your thread I am more and more enthusiastic to get both of mine going faster.

I also like the new tripod mount...It would look good with a Mini Gun!

I got 2 questions :

Why did you add the "lip" along the cut-off section....?

Could you share the basic dimensions of the box?

THANKS!

Hi, Nick.

I am available to help.

The postal service here in Brazil is relatively good, most of the problem is the customs clearance. The models are our focus, so let's leave aside the other problems.

Regarding the cargo, if I wanted to put it all would not be room in the cargo bed.

I believe the "minigun" is not totally wrong, the photo that I took as a reference to the tripod had a "minigun" on it.

Question 1

The "lip" to interpret the picture below, this finish appeared to exist

I may be mistaken, this was the only picture that I found hanging without much equipment, so I took as a reference.

Question 2

The basic dimensions of the box in millimeters are:
Width: 16.75
Length: 18.80
Height: 6.65

I hope this helps.
