The work was productive this week ... I managed to finish this medical vehicles, along with Churchill CDL ... My bench was congested ....

The pictures:












The kit is fun to build, but the ICM could have a little more painstaking in the details. The lack of windshield wipers consider a silly flaw, easily repaired, if the manufactures want to ...

The pins of the rear wheels is another detail that should be reviewed, as well as the height of front suspension ... A pad greatly improves the look of the vehicle ...

But it is a beautiful representative of "snouted " Fords ... I hope that the ICM release the late models from V3000 ...and the Ford G917, too ...

Lovely job Marcos. The ambulance idea is great! I wish I could just rummage through my stash and pick up a spare body like that as my truck bed has warped all over the place on the ICM kit! I even tried dunking it in boiling water then leaving it between two pieces of wood in the vice overnight. This didn't help at all, nor did assembling it as it was and trying to pull it into shape that way - the bed is stronger than the chassis members. I think I will have to scratch a tilt frame and cover to hide it... ICM - rare subject matter, but not easy kits.

I know this is an old post but just found it via a search for posts on the ICM Maulter version.

Fantastic model Marcus and beautifully finished.

The ICM is a great 1/35 kit and a well deserved change from the popular Opel Blitz. I agree with Marcus on all his points on fitting issues. Take note. Also as the chassis comes in several components it's imperative that both the top and bottom chassis rails line up square.
I ended up drilling the rear axle and placing pins to better locate the rear double wheels as the axle locating lug lengths are way too short.



I have just started to build the newish ICM Maultier version of the V3000 as I enjoyed the standard version so much. Any advice on aftermarket items for this kit ?
