I went ahead and decided to go with a tan/gree/black camo scheme. So last night I masked and sprayed the green. This morning I masked and sprayed the black. I pretty much just winged it without any real plan.

Here's a peep at it through the process. Anyway, I still have to get it all back together and do the finish up work.

Thanks all.

The camo scheme came out better than I had expected. I changed things up a bit while I was doing it so I ended up making it more difficult than it should have been. Sorry about the photo quality. I just sort of snapped off a few pictures while I was going.

I have her all back together and I'm fixing to start the finishing detail painting in the next couple of days. I want to get some good photos of it before I do that though. I don't think I'm going to put a lot of stowage on her though.

Alex: It's great to see you cooking along! I wouldn't worry about putting much storage on it either given the purpose of such a vehicle, and I look forward to seeing your next batch of photos

Hey guys, will this pic work to put in the campaign gallery until I can get outside to take some better ones? I don't want to miss my first ribbon.
I had to build it it's own shelf to get it off my workbench Jeff

Thanks for all the comments Boys.Well,I just posted my photo to the campaign gallery. So I guess I'm done for now.As soon as some of the snow melts around here,I will take some outside pics.

I want to take this time to thank every one who helped me out with my build problems, and for giving Me some great ideas This was my first campaign and with the help of you Gents,I had a great time, and a lot of fun.
Don't worry,I will still be checking in to this thread to see how every one is coming along.
I'm sure I will be talking to some of you in the Panther and 1/48 campaigns.
Once again, thanks for all the help .Model on,Jeff

I hadn't jumped into the weather conversation earlier, but isn't the snow melted yet up there in Maine? We're sweating in the high 70's (Fahrenheit-- what's that, 25 C?) over here in Wisconsin-- broke the 1995 record, 30 degrees above average!
Congrats again on your first campaign finish!

Sean...Thanks,the weather here has been jumping around like like a blind man in a mine field Two weeks ago it snowed 10 inches,it was so heavy I broke my snowblower trying to move it.This week,it has been nice,55-60 degrees we broke a couple of records too. Then last night it snowed about 2 inches .They are talking about us getting the weather you're having now by the end of the week end.I sure hope it makes up it's mind soon.Jeff T.

Okay, the girl's altogether and ready for her debut. She went together pretty easy. I painted a few details such as the lights, some of the fixtures, and the road wheel center caps. However, I decided to leave her pretty basic. I did a light wash to pick out some details. I left out stowage, figures, and even markings.

So without any further ado....

I'll try to put a couple of these in the Campaign Gallery in the next couple of days.

Comment? Suggestions?

My progress so fall on Verlinden's "Cyborg Hunter" which I intend to mimic as "Fallout 3." I still need to glue on the gun, mount it on a base, and do some fine-detailed painting of the face, etc. Sorry for the poor quality photo.

Thanks all. It was a fun project to do.

Jeff, I like your Panther. Putting it on the back of a Dragon Wagon is a great way to finish it off.

J Poitras, I take it that those rear hatches are for infantry. If so you might want to add a firing port and maybe some periscopes on the rear.

Thanks Alex, spent the past week or so figuring out detailing this. Trying to figure out how to set up the ports--should have cut the holes before 'welding' the panels in place. Now I'll have to go at it with a dermal tool.
Next time I do this I'll include the interior and work my way out.
