Hi Guys,
Great refes will be putting these to good use, one question, i know the East Germans didnt use, or got rid of their MAZ 537 tank transporters, but did they use the KZKT 537L?
Regards

Mauro- thanks for the tire info. both sets have issue, but seems TW set would be less noticable. The armory wheels have the handed tread, guess the lettering could go in? Both sets unfortunately have incorrect tread count for late Maz. I was doing.
The engine out of a TRP Howitzer...! That would fill the engine bay
Thanks!
Does anyone know what the large box on top of engine is for? A few pics show it, some not. It appears to have small pipes coming out of the bottom? Kinda red in color

The Trumpeter kit labelled "MAZ-537 Last production" has different (newer) wheels, maybe it is good for you:

A photo of a vehicle having both pattern on the same truck:

Renovated ones here in Hungary have usually this new tire, these are possibly leftovers from the army.

Just want to clear up something I tend to think is a real problem on the Trumpter MAZ kit and that is the really screwed up driveline on the model not to mention the totally missing (and very visible drive shaft running to the winch.
Correct driveline arrangement shown here:
