Looks to far better then the Skif T-64 kit...but looks to be on par with the T-62 mold quality wise, which is slightly disappointing.

I'll prob wind up getting one since I like the look of the T-64A with the "gill armor" on it.

How is it on par with the T62 Scott. ?

Please Explain

Do not buy, it has a lot of errors on the hull and turret. May correct errors...

It's a shame that some people slam a kit before it's even been released....

So what are these errors exactly? How many are there? Are they easy to fix? Almost every kit has errors, so are we supposed to not buy anything?! If we want to model a T-64 then what are we supposed to do? Perhaps we could buy the kit and then make some improvements to correct it if needed. What ever is wrong with it, I can't see it being worse than the Skif kit...

I'm sorry, but this kind of blunt statement without anything to back it up does nothing to help either modelers or manufacturers

The T-64 have more than 20 versions, only T-64A, MOD 68/69/72/73... and so on, So say errior is not so easy. we welcome modelers point our error, before release, every can be change, but not the malicious.

Gaoyue, here is the SP Designs T-64A upper and lower hull that have been reworked on the SKIF parts. I hope this helps improve the Trumpeter kit.

Jacques, I'll bet they already have one of those conversions sitting at the developement office. By the way, when are you going to get more stock on the lower hull and T-64B upper hull with anti-radiation liner? I am stoked about this release but like I said before, it may be awhile before we see it. Remember how long it took the T-62 to come out after they released these kind of photos of it.

Me too....but it would be better NO errors

Anyway, joking aside considering that they still have enough time, I hope that all the errors will be fixed before the final production. ...If there are errors...

cheers

The turret looks like it needs the top edges softened a bit and the details improved:

Hi!
I wrote a letter to Trumpeter before release the 1/32 Su-25 frogfoot... the canopy opens to the right, not to the back as it was seen on their pictures. I got no answer... nothing.

Dear Mr. Trumpeter,

now that you finally bring a T-64 made with up-do-date technology so please do a T-90 also! Zvezda does not seem to do it...

Vadim, you should specify in my humble opinion

"For the overall geometry of the tower while it is difficult to judge... :-/ But, tower МиниАрм at the moment looks very elegant, and much more attractive. I like how переразмеренные reservation of the sights. A fantastic area in front of the left ce, in the spirit of Scythian! Geometry command of the turret is rather doubtful...
In general, it is understandable that is made on the grounds, but feel would not hurt.
Hmm... the body of the machine is until much better.

Yes, and the overall curvature of Surfaces is not the same. More or less bright выбащенный "angle" between sideways and верхос on board smoothly disappears to mask the gun, turning in a spherical surface. Then it is read up to the embrasures. Yes and angles are doubtful.

Yes and in general, do a normal tower, once the surface become familiar. Here is clearly not something a little bit maintained SKIF some."

... and : "There is no front weld seam dome roof, while the rear is present"

Looks fantastic!!

When are Trumpeter producing the T90 and BMP1 & 2 in 1/35th scale?

Regards

Juljon

...when do they make a T-72 family ?...

Everything is possible

God, I hope so! I love the T-62, will be buying this kit and the other T-64's as well, and the idea of a T-72/T-90 line would be ideal. You all would completely own the modern Russian/Soviet market.

You 'd better wrote a letter to me, thanks alot, the Su-25 kit is right, but the 3D photo for publicity made some mistake.

I know this is a bit off topic but you posted a picture of a BTR-80 a while back. Any updates on that?

I've amassed a large collection of T-64 pictures and all I can say is building an accurate T-64 all depends on which one you're using as a reference. Once I figure out how to post pictures I'll upload a few different turrets.
