Well ... I know ... it's not a tank or something with caterpillars or wheels ... I just want to introduce you a diorama of a french submarine ... I was feed-up with my tanks and I choose to do something else and to take some "fresh air".

I hope you will enjoy it and that you will accept to find "something else" in the constructive feed back forum ... why not?

This is the Surcouf Heller 1/400th scale (upgrade version with PE parts and resin).

I put an article on my web pages (free E-magazine) (in english and I'm not, of course, the transmlator)

This is some nice work Patrice, I'm sure that it was a very enjoyable break from armor.

Normally people post subs in the Dioramas forum here on Armorama, just something to be aware of.

The website you have provided a link for is running a bit slow on my computer at the moment, but I'm looking forward to seeing more of this project on there. I'm really looking forward to learning more about how you made the water

Thx Jeremy. i was not sure were to put this one so you can move it in another forum. There is no problem for me.
The water was made with plastre painted indifferent blue colors and texture gel for artist was used for the top of the waves.

Patrice, nice effort, and a super diorama. Simple, yet very effective. The last picture using a low rear angle, looks extremely realistic.

I had a feeling that you used plaster for the water. I turned out really nice

Yep, it's the best photo yet. One certainly gets the feeling that you're looking at the real deal.
