When you think about it, any P/U or s.u.v. from any time era could be mighty usefull. Jeep even made a vehical where the front seat area was a van style and behind that, a P/U. Any 1/35th scale type vehical could be used as civilian or military. The hobby seems to be lacking in 1/35th scale civilian vehicals and concintrats on only military use. Picture most news flash's and you see civilian vehicals parked, blown up or driving by military road blocks or around areas contested by opposing forces. Sooner or later some modeling company is gonna hit the jackpot with these types of releases. Sorry Jim, but off topic; all types of delivery trucks are neede too. Vans, box, tractor trailer and the different types of trailers too.

I think if model kit companies delve into Fast Attack Vehicles, that would help bolster the pickup truck line. True, we have the Ranger RSOV, but note that the RSOV is no longer in service.

The Toyota line, the F250-550 line, the modern van and SUV line, etc. are all needed as kits.

What's interesting is that the #1 "Most Wanted" 1/24-1/25 vehicle in the FineScale Modeler survey (out of 21,000+ votes) was "Modern Emergency Vehicles." If model kit makers could make modern trucks, SUVs, and heavy-duty EMS vehicles, that would help both the Military and civilian vehicle model market.
