Neal what colour have you used for the interior crew compartment? Normally it is a cream colour but this looks a little dark or is it just the light that is making it look that way?

Lifecolor UA 232 RAL1015 German Effenbein

I had to use inside lighting, since we've been having rain

I don't know if it has any effect to the picture, but I changed out the blue construction paper background with a blue poster board background. It seemed to me that it looked better, matching the backgrounds of some of the reviewers here in Armorama.

Either way, with overhead clouds and rain here, I have to turn to the fluorescent lighting inside. The flash settings on my camera are too much.

This is the latest side-by-side of my hull (grey exterior/unpainted) and Mason's (red oxide primer)

It is most likely the lighting set up then. Keep it coming.

thanks Mason! Work and a family emergency got in the way of working on the MK IV and getting more pics done of Mason's MK IV. I should be on track tomorrow or the next day.

I had some time earlier today to get some pics done for Mason and myself. Here's where I'm at with mine after starting the turret yesterday in my free time.

Hurricane Irene came along and forced a day off, so I picked up some. I'm trying to clear the sprue marks inside the turret after Mason pointed out that I had't done that to my glacis plate

I also broke my clear plastic turret window hatch mechanisms which forced me to fabricate one totally. I'm not sure whether there was a mistake on Drgaon's instruction sheet or the formation of their window hatch mechanisms, but they didn't fit correctly. I actually have had Mason scouring over websites for details just so I could get something as close to correct in place.

FWIW, I had to take the pictures under the lights inside.....

Unfortunately, I've been having a hard time to commit to the build as much as I wish (work comes first). However, taking pictures of Mason's build, I did take these of mine:

Thanks Darren. Though I've been swamped with work and tracking down tracks for Mason ( ) , I keep plugging away when I get the chance. Mason is doing the same around school, Cub Scouts and his (new) alto saxophone lessons. Of course, both of us are enjoying it...to me, it's relaxing, to him, it seems invigorating.

Here's mine as of today:

I do believe that I may go with Fruil tracks after checking out Mason's as he gets underway
