Hi Jeremy,
I am intending to buy this kit as I need one for my wargames army. I thank you for your efforts and this will be a big help when I get mine. With regard to the suspension, this is probably the Opel Maultier suspension and having built one of those I can only advise caution. The parts are very 'in scale' and therefore delicate, the tracks are the real problem though and you need to dry fit them to see if they are the correct length - mine were a little short. Also it is not advisable to join them and then fit them as the suspension won't take the strain, best to glue it around the roadwheels a bit at a time. Hope this helps, keep up the good work and I look forward to the next instalment.
All the best,
Paul

Hi Jeremy,
I found a photo to show what I mean:
I think you can see what I mean, I used some scrap runner from the track sprue to fill the gap and if you put it on a base you can't see the join.
All the best,
Paul

Ok I have returned from hiatus and lining everything back up on the workbench, should be back on track with this project in the next day or so.
I wanted to thank everyone here for your support and feedback, and I hope that you will continue to enjoy this build log/review
Stephen: Thanks for the link, I will ask admin here if they can implement it into the first post.
Paul: Excellent, great information! I am going to have to replace the axles with solid brass rod due to their fragile nature. The axles from the review sample already have stress marks in them and I don't think that it's a wise idea to use them, especially with the majority of the weight resting on them. I will see what I can do with the track links once I have everything firmly planted for the rear suspension.
Stay tuned everyone, and JackFlash has informed me that their is more on the way once this is finished

Hi Jeremy
Good to see you are back. Looking forward to seeing your update when you have mastered the suspension & track assembly. I have located my spare tracks if it turns out that you could use a few links
cheers
Neil

Hello Stephen thanks for checking in, the build is still ongoing and I hope to have some photos up next week.
That new version looks very interesting, and I'm sure the parts count has been raised quite a bit from the components for the rocket launchers
