Hello Guys!
Started on a Hobby Boss Land Rover WMIK, with the Legends Aggressive Tire update, as well as the Detailing Set.
Here's some pics of the engine... will upload a couple of the chassis later today.
Please let me know if the engine needs additional details/coloring.
Thanks!!
Jorge
EDIT: Don't know why, the black engine block looks really bluish-grey in the picks, when in reality it is Tamiya NATO Black... (why NATO Black? So there's a bit of a difference on the flat-black painted hoses and caps...).

Nice start mate, Just one thing the cooling fan should be a opaque white color not silver. If you need help with the small details have a look at my WMIK build log.

Nice start. I particularly like how you painted and weathered the exhaust. There usually difficult to do, and look realistic, but you've done a excellent job with them.

Thanks, Joel.
Guys, quick question... already painted the chassis black... now, what is the color used on the floor pan bottom that makes contact with the chassis (body underside)?
Thanks!

Thanks, Scott... so, my next question is, what is the color used by the British for a desert scheme?
I have MM Acryl US Army/Marine Gulf, but have no idea what other color I can use for it...
The kit really builds itself... it is a very nicely designed kit, and reminds me a lot of a Tamiya assembly...
Will try to post pics later today.
Regards,
Jorge

These may help?
There will be some differences in colour in the engine parts one thing to remember is the with field maintenance chipping the paint on some thing is accepted.
Also they have been fitting full stainless steel exhaust systems to the WMIK for the last two years so it is only the turbo that goes rusty red the main system is a dull faun colour changing to a stainless silver colour after it has been used in anger.

I would use Tamiya XF59 desert yellow it is a good match for it.
