Phill.. that's a LOT of CD's you got stacked in the back there! And way too many cigarettes in that ashtray

I used to have a full ashtray like that on my desk, until I quit about a year ago.. finally!!
Kevin.. that's a very nice looking desk you got there. I'd almost hate to ruin it with glue stains and hobby knife scratches

Yeah, I have to airbrush in the basement too... and my wife goes BONKERS every time I do it. I am trying to concieve a way to make a poor mans paint booth and vent it out my cellar window. I have an old dryer vent that goes to the outside... thinking some dryer hose to a home made booth but lost on how to provide the negative pressure ....
LOL, airbrush table pictures will be inbound tomorrow!!!

Well...
Normally, in keeping with the princple to not air one's dirty laundry in public, I keep this chaotic mess undisclosed, but since the old work room was looking particularly SNAFU and seeing as how (after looking at the above posts

) I was obviously in such good company, here's a quick peek at my work bench:
Once place to make building messes, and one place to make painting messes, and yet another to make just general messes!
I hope you guys find it as inspiring as I do!
Have a great armor model-building kinda day!

Here are a few pics of the workbench at home,

One place to build and one to paint. As far as painting in the house goes, well it's my house, and my wife just puts off doing laundry when I'm spraying

I will post pics of my current workbench in the barracks when i get off work tonight.
cheers
One of the serious problems in planning against Canadian doctrine is that the Canadians do not read their manuals, nor do they feel any obligations to follow their doctrine.

I forgot to put in a picture of my Iraq work bench... Being in an Engineer Battalion helped immensely, because all the tools and wood were easily scarfable... hehe

only built one model the whole year, but honestly I think aside from my first model ever, it was the most fun kit I had ever built. Old school tools, paints, techniques. Doug and John if your out there... those kits meant the world to me!

You are 100% correct Nick! Roomie and I went halves on a brand new fridge and a 22 inch Tv with a DVD player in it.. Somehow it all ended up on my half of the room. I loved that M-4... NEVER gave me problems other than mud in the Flash supressor (Im sort of SHORT). My Bed is also about 3 feet off the floor, I screwed 2x4s onto the legs so I could put my duffel and my footlocker, along with my IBA and Helmet UNDER the bed. (couple times it proved handy under there LOL_)

Well you sure know how to make best use of the space you have.
And I can only guess there must be a good stock of

in the fridge...Such would be my dream!
Well I don't have the privilege of going to bed with an M4...but I do appreciate a trusty weapon that don't jam up on me...but that would be my uniform days donkey years ago.
SHORT is good my friend, gets a bit more face to face when speaking with the ladies...not like the tall guys.... LOL
