Very impressive and I really like the woodern base. I often feel that my models would look more complete on a woodern base or as part of a dio, but my attention gets drawn to the 100 tanks that I have waiting to build.
I really do like the attention to detail that to have paid to this model and it definately is a very fine looking Stug.
The wife commented the other day that on average I build three models a year, and that I buy at least 5. With the collection of unbuilt models I have already have I will never catch up. That will not stop me buying though and she bought me both of those 16th KingTigers so it is really all her fault

Hi Steven,
Thanks so much for the kind words man, i do appreciate it. ive got to say that your wife is definately a keeper! it seems that she "Gets It" when so many people dont. this is a wonderful hobby and a big part of it isnt just building and researching, but BUYING!!! thats fun too. like you, My nephew who got me back in the hobby 3yrs ago, has close to if not 100 kits and tons of aftermarket goodies yet hes so busy he completes 1 to 3 projects a year. i myself averaged about 4 to 6 a year for the past 3yrs. but i have only 14 kits in the stash. well... 16 after christmas. Got an italeri Staghound Mk.1 on the way. and for my birthday early next year is a Dragon Neubau.Fahrzeug Nr.3-5... i think? (fingers crossed).
Anyway, thx again Steven and best regaurds to you and your wife.

Hi Gary. Fantastic build. I really enjoyed this thread ... especially the interior work. I have been following since the start, but unfortunately dont always have the time to comment. Your own additions to the build made all the difference IMO. I would find it hard to give away a model like this after spending so much time and energy on it. But having it appreciated maybe makes the diffeence!! Looking forward to the next one already.

Hi Frank,
Thanks Frank for the kind words and for following along. its been a fun build. i would much rather have the stuh in my display case however im happy to build it for my nephew and i believe this is the 6th ive built for him. luckly he lives about 10 minutes away and i get to see the builds regularly. im pretty sure that santas bringing me an Italeri staghound mk1. and it may be my next build. if not that its between the tamiya T-72 or the Johann Huber Jagdpanzer IV L/70.
Thanks again Frank and merry christmas and happy new year to you and yours!!!
