I have begun a new model. In this case, it will be all in scratch. This truck was one of called "Tiznaos" and was used by republican forces during the Spanish Civil War. I have only cut the first pieces.
Regards.
Pedro.

Hi Pedro,
Although you have chosen an '' ugly '' vehicle I am sure you'll create a very good scale model.

@PedroA – Pedro,
Merry Christmas to you and your family too! Your latest creation doesn’t appear to be to complicated to build, but I do understand how all of the little details take up time to make and place correctly on the model. I’ve been dropping in from time to time to see how your vehicle is coming along, as well as the other projects here in the Braille forum. Been busy with my current project so I don’t get a chance to post any remarks, it’s either that or no time on the workbench.
Anyhow I’m glad to see another scratch built project in the making. It can be at times difficult enough to build a kit right out of the box let along having to think through how your going to create something for a scratch built model and then make it. Which brings up the difference between a model maker and a model builder and then there’s someone like you an artist.
Thanks for sharing your work here and for helping all of us in making better models which in turn brings us to having more fun with this wonderful pastime.

Hi Pedro,
Your build looks suspiciously simple - I know it's not
I wish you Merry Christmas with your family and many models for the new year.

Hi Pedro. Impressive work and a very interesting subject. There was a fascinating assortment of equipment used in the war.
I can't see to many markings on this vehicle but Aleran Decals make a set of Spanish Civil War decals that may be of use to you.
Will this build be a master for a resin model that will be available in the future?
Cheers,
Tim

Thanks friends.
Tim, I always make resin copies about my models but I don´t konw if some producer would be interested in it. The model only has a marking in front "C 3".
New pieces. Turret, wheels and headlight.
Regards.
Pedro.

@PedroA – Pedro,
I’m a little confused with the side-by-side wheel arrangement that you posted for this vehicle, as this wheel set does not match the front wheel in the photograph of the real vehicle that you had posted to introduce this build to us. They are also not found on the drawings that you posted either. Is this wheel arrangement intended for use at the rear of the vehicle?
Happy Holidays,
~ Eddy

Thanks again.
Eddy, you are right. This is the rear wheel.
Now, the model is ready to make resin copies. I have posted some videos in my blog explaining how to make wheels.
Regards. Pedro.

Hi Pedro,
As usual, clean and crisp build. I have a question. In the picture I see that chains (?) are hanging around the vehicle? What's the purpose of that?
I have also seen other vehicles from the Spain war with that configuration.
P.A.

Pedro,
You seem to have quite the knack for finding and then creating the most obscure yet interesting subjects, let alone building them from scratch. You obviously have a very impressive "production line" and the tools to go with it.
Cheers,
Jan

Alexander. These vehicles were made over chasis truck like Zis, Ford, etc. I think the floor wasn't enough protected and a grenade, could destroy the truck.
Jan. I always look for rare vehicles. During the Spanish Civil War you can see a lot of them.
I have copy the first pieces.
I was looked for a Hotchkiss in Braille scale but I haven't found any, so this afternoon I have turned one
.
Best regards.

There´s the Mini World cast bronze one...Bit expensive but a beautiful model, not worth if you´re only showing the barrel...
