I finished some details like tools etc and I'll soon go to the weathering.I want to have a tank that had a 3-tone paint that would have made in the german factory. Because I want to make a what if tank I think something that would make a less fragile ainting at the time. It would be similar to that which exists now with modern armor. All that to say that my weathering will not based DAK classic dak weathering, ie dunkel gelb on the panzer gray factory. It will be something not too "violent". I don't want something very worn in short chipping level actually. I would also put during spring in my panther position after a rainy winter style Tunisia 43. I have traces of rain with flow of dry mud etc ... which have subsequently received the first sandy winds. As a result, traces of rain and pigments deposited in corners.I would like your opinion on the weathring that I want to achieve, especially at the chipping and their colors and the phasing of the various stages of weathering.

2 small photos with decals!

1 picture with a first test of chipping on schrurzen. I haven't put rust stains. I used the lighter color that I used to mix the base paint. What do you think? Not too light, not too heavy, not too large?
Another question, what should I do on the dark parts, take the same color used so far or cleared this dark brown?
I think making a not too strong wheathering which would appear a vintage painting but less fragile at the time and make a mix of materials. Eg to thin sheets (all Schurzen, rollovers, etc ...) as if it were the conventional steel. But for the case, would not it nice to pretend hull / turret were modern material, ie aluminium? It would give something pale gray without oxidation, just a color dust / rain.

The picture!

Thx
My camo is with hard edge because I used silly putty. It's a bizarre putty very nice to make hard edge like last german camo of ww2 and moderne camo.
Mxpression sell a silly puty like, here's a video:

My airbrush is a Talon from Paashe.

Before to follow Schurzen, I've done the weathering on the back plate. I think it's a little flashy in contrast but I think this effect decrease with the weathering.

I also painted jerry cans for the rack but I have to do txo for water. I'll stick a pair of shell and a shovel on the rear deck. I put a strap to stg 44, I think it looks better that way.
In your comm!

I finished the filters completely.

I then placed a few points oil painting on vertical sections with 3 colors. Finally, I made a juice throughout the tank. I'll make pigments. The pictures are a little yellow because I took them with a poor GSM with artificial light...I will make more pictures but I will post them for you to wait

I wait your critical ans comment!

OK. Here's a critical one:
Why are the spare tracks rusty, but not any of the tools?

I always see tools no rust in pictures of panther. The steel is perhaps stronger and rust less than the tracks steel.

Here's 3 pictures of the panther almost finished:

thx

normally not for the wash. It's true that the wash I made was a little cleared by pigments but I don't know if I could made a new one without risk of spoiling my work.

Here, I think, the last photos of Panther I post before subcontract the fig to a friend of mine. I’ll finish some accessories. I still put two jerrycans of water, weathering two shell and put black dust on the exhaust. I'll try a test with the printer toner on a small piece to check.
I'm relatively happy, my first model after almost 20 years!

Otherwise, I expect all your opinions and comments that would be useful to refine the panther me or I will be for the next tank.

Here the pictures in natural light but, always in low quality ...

You are having way too much fun, with this one. I keep thinking you are nearly done, and you keep finding details left unfinished. One of the most enjoyable builds I have followed! Keep it up.

I'm glad that my panther please you and thank you for all the compliments.
I'll wait some time to do the rest.
Yesterday, I took out the Leopard 2 A6 M Can and I will continue the build tonight. Another kit with a lot of PE (Royal Model and Real Model) but no scratch!
