Of course, 5 minutes later, the 88 gets hammered by some P-47s or a battery of 105s! LOL!
BTW, how big is this dio going to be? If the range is too close, the AP shell may just go clean through the tank.

ALRIGHT BOB !

You guys are right, what was I thinking!

There should be a couple FW190 going to lend a hand to the flakpanzer to shoot down the silly P-47 too, right? :-)

The FW 190 would have been destoyed on the runway by the P-47
It was the U.S. Air Power that made the Luftwaffe look silly ! ( LOL )
AND THATS A FACT JACK

Warrior makes a Flak 88 crew. .
If your intending on portraying - SS Flak Abteilung 12/ 12.SS Pz.Div.
Check your references to see if they were wearing this style cut uniform
or smocks. If it was the same cut, you can paint a pea-pattern.

Weezul, it looks to be German M43 style cut of uniform.
However, since the pic is a bit blurred I really can't say
for sure.
But if it is, like I said you can paint it as
1944 Herringbone Camo Uniform or the 1943 Drill Camo Uniform,
both which used the pea-pattern and were of the same basic M43/M37 tunic
and trouser's style.

New idea, how about a couple of the "Stuka Zu Fuss" to bring the 105s under fire....This project is just getting better and better!

Guys, Guys, can we get back to conventional here? :-) I know I shouldn't even bring out the rockets about this "Stuka Zu Fuss" thing!!! My fault. :-)

that is a good kit, the figures go together nicely. Ironside makes a Renault UE tractor with a "Stuka zu Fuss" set-up. also a very nice kit, with PE parts.

Weezul,

I agree with sourkraut. Place the 88 in a well constructed and concealed fighting position, maybe have a Sdkfz 7 in a hide position ready to move in and help the 88 un-ass the position should it become untenable. Don't forget to hide a squad of troops in spread out various positions to defend the gun.

to weezul,
i appreciate you letting me have a little fun with this. seriously, though the dio you described should be good. try either the LAH or Hitlerjugend, maybe Panzerlehr. happy building Nick
