I really like what you have done and how the Modge Podge looks.
My only suggestion (had I seen this thread earlier) would have been to saw off the bottom of the tank just above the road wheels and glue it to the wood base. Paint the base surface a muddy color and then proceed to pour maybe 3-4 1/8" layers of the tinted resin. You still get the perception of depth but much less expensive in cost of resin.
Nonetheless what you've done looks really good. Is it really heavy?
Cheers,
C.

Will the white disappear when it completely dries? Also, in order to get a better feel of what you're trying to depict, is the tank in motion? If so, at what speed?

A very interesting project going on here. Some ideas to ponder. In an old FSM mag Green built a PZ4B using parts from different kits. My semi started one is now itching to get back on the bench. Thanks for the play by play.

Yes the white will disappear as it fully dries. I may drybrush a lil white for whitecaps, but I am working on layering it up right now. Cant say what speed its going cant see the speedometer. But if would b a slower cautious speed if I was the TC, so my churning water will reflect that.

Well I tried to add agitated water at the back of the tank using gesso as a thicker medium than the modge podge which tended to flatten out. I added paint to the gesso and applied it and it really clashed with what I had previously done. So I added the same paint to the modge podge and painted this over everything. I didnt like these results either.
So I then added the same paint to a small mixture of the Magic Water and added some small leaves and churned up debris.
The previous day I added some Modge Podge to the front of the tank to simulate pushing thru the water. Its still drying.

Tonight I am trying another product to make my bigger waves and ripples. This should dry clear and hi gloss. I will cover it with Magic Water applied with a brush.

I am about ready to call this project complete. Just some water effects on the tracks and adding the TC. Who is being painted by a great friend who wishes to remain anonymous.

It's looking pretty sweet mate. I really like the waves coming from the front of the tank, really good.

Thanks Luke. I am not happy though. Here is the Alpine figure added though not permanently yet. Nice figure, he was wearing coveralls but has been converted to a wraparound, and from SS to Wermacht. Very nice job by my friend. I am still going to work on the water at the back of the tank, this is where I am unhappy.

OK here is the latest update. I might tone down the white in the track wash, what do you think?
