Nicolas - Impressive work on the figure. If I tried something like that it would look like Gumby on the eastern front!
Chris - Great progress too bad about the missing decals, another tank goes on my wishlist.
John - Really nice build so far. How did you do the canvas cover? It looks amazing! I'm also feeling some flak 38 envy, with the metal barrels it should look very sweet.
Jon - Nice extras with that Italeri kit. That is one of my favorite tanks, so I'll be watching with interest.
Martin - I'm a big fan of all the Pz38 variants, I'll be following along.
Sal - On a roll with the Rad 8s. Coming along nicely. The KV-II is going together very well except I have some fit issues with the front hull, nothing a little putty can't fix.
Jose - Ah comrade, the German's have an early lead, but we will prevail in the end! Oh wait, you're building a Hummel too, hedging your bets.
I picked up some PE for the grills on the KV-II, not quite what I had in mind. With this set grills go on top of the styrene grills, so you can't see through them. Next time I'll try to make my own. I also have a metal barrel sitting in the post office that I'll pick up on Saturday.

Jon: That doesn't look bad at all!
John: Nice job on finding some suitable spares, the ones in the kit really did look bad. Your progress is coming along nicely!
Martin: Just let it out, MARDER III!!!! I'm curious as to what color scheme you'll be using as well.
Sal: Looking good! How far will you go with the weathering? And did you paint the tires by hand? They look really clean, ie. no bleeding around the rims.
Jose: Great choice of vehicle! That looks like it will be a pretty quick build.
Nate: The PE grills look great! Did you have any issues mating the hull sides with the top?

Thanks Nathan !
I painted it with a Flat brown base, then with 2 coats of khaki one darker and then lighter.
I also did a few washes with white.
Thanks Jeremy !
This week it will be Flak time. The AFV kit is outstanding !
I truly recommend it !

Thanks for the complements guys, the tires were hand painted using cheap craft store acrylic and a flat 1cm wide brush, which i find gets right up to the rim and a spin make a nice smooth line, but don't try it with 4 women aging from 85 to 16 in the house.
Jemery, I'm not gonna get too crazy similar to to my STuG III weathering as I am Planning a dio with the 2 vehicles.
@ Nathan I think the PE grills look fine they will look even better with some paint and weathering

Thanks Nathan and Jeremy for the welcome
The ISU-122 is a quick build, but I try to make a little "vignette" with the tank.
Today I start the building!!!
Nathan, I try to purchase an Stalin from Italeri but its impossible to obtain in the local hobby shops, for this reason I decided for a Hummel

Hi Jeremy,
I was thinking of Panzer grey. But I must admit I do like the three tone "Heider" Marder in the Tamiya instructions.
I will have to decide soon.

My mail order should be coming in today or tomorrow so I should start on my centerpiece for this one soon pretty soon. I have been working on some of the other diorama components like the motorbikes and Soviet 45mm gun.
My plan is a scene where elements of a German recon unit (probably GD) are taking five while waiting for the rest of the forces to catch up. It's composed of two BMW R75s and an armored radio car. Nearby is an overrun Soviet gun emplacement. I'll probably have a couple of Soviet prisoners.
@Sal, I'm liking your Rad 8. Nice work.

@Sal
I like your weathering, the 2 green bags at the back are a little bright, it might be the flash, if not dust them a little. Also you might consider some more dirt around the tires & wheels (depending on the dio emplacement).
I like the different shades of grey that you have with your washes too.
Congrats ! One more Campaign !!

Slowly working on the Flak, to many small details it's very easy to loose a part ..
I lost a small piece here... A11 is missing..
I also cut the small pins on PE part G5...
Coming next .. the guns

Didn't work as much as I wanted... F1 training, Moto GP, Olympics... it's hard to be at the bench
I had some small issues with the Flak
"K" parts were done but I couldn't attached it right without damaging some small parts so left it out.
Also
I will have to check the Tamyia parts from the HalfTrack to make sure it all fits right.
Here's my progress
I have to confess I'm a little scared to prime & paint without damaging açç those small parts ...
